She doesn't say anything for a while and judging by the movement of the camera, she seems to be walking somewhere. At length, the movement — and thus, the girl — stops and her eyes lift from the camera, scanning her surroundings obviously. ]

What is this? This isn't where I stopped to take my dirt nap. [ She looks back down at the PCD in her hand. ] Hey, is anyone getting this? Tifa? ...Kain? ...Yuna?

[ She frowns and sighs, then adds after a moment: ]

If any of you guys get this... call me back. I'll be around with our nameless knight. We're in some place called "Traverse Town". Okay? See ya'.

[ And the feed cuts off. ]

[A little boy with spunky hair and wide blue eyes is suddenly staring into the feed with a pouting face; he looks like he's been crying, actually. You might not recognize him without the trademark tribal tattoo on the side of his face. Until he opens, his mouth, that is.]

MAAAAATRON! Where are you?! They... they said I could find you if I used this thing!

[He leans in really close, almost bonking his forehead on the screen.] Are you in there?! Come ou~t! The people here are weird and I don't like it...! OH! And I saw someone start a fire even though they're NOT S'POSED TO! You're gonna put 'em in the corner, right, Matron? RIGHT?! I did good, huh?!

[...Except when he doesn't get an answer after a few moments of wait, his eyes started welling up with tears and he begins to wibble.]

[ With all these children roaming about, Cecil doesn't feel particularly comfortable not trying to do something productive about keeping them all safe. Gathering the few he has so far has been helpful, yes, but he can do better. They all can do better. And what if those affected aren't even misplaced refugees or don't have a communicator? Or are too young or old to figure out how to use it?

These things occur to the paladin, as does the fact that he simply won't be able to look after all of the children, so he speaks with great urgency as he starts a new video feed. ]

Hello, everyone. I apologize for making such requests amidst all the chaos. I am attempting to find as many of the children who are alone as I can, but I cannot find and care for everyone alone. Is there anyone who has not been affected or is unaffected enough to be of help who is willing to volunteer their services and aid me in the temporary setup of a shelter for those who are without friends and family?
