03 Flight ☁ Olympus Coliseum & Eggs! ☁ [Video/Action for the Coliseum]

[The feed starts abruptly, as the communicator is jostled. The feed displays the unmistakable architecture of the Coliseum, as well as the resident hero, Hercules. It looks like Hercules had been training before interrupted by the little blue Olympian messenger.]

Woah Herc! What happened to you?

[He circled Hercules getting a better look at him]

The last time I saw you, you were only a hero-in-training. What is that? Been tampering with the tapestry of fate again? [He barely gave Hercules a moment to answer before he was on to the next hypothesis]

.. Or made any deals with any foreign deities? [Hermes's tone didn't sound accusatory, just curious, relieved to find someone from not only from his own time period but also because it was the son of Zeus. He was like a member of the family, so to speak.]

Hold that thought, babe. [You could hear the audio of Hercules lighthearted laughter but not the response as Hermes noticed something else and flitted over to it. Sitting high above the Coliseum floor was one of those eggs Lizzie had hidden.. or had the moogles hid. Finally noticing the camera was recording, he held it up for the viewers to see. It was striped purple and white]

Isn't that just too nutty. Who would put an egg all the way up here? I don't suppose any of you are missing one?

[That was probably the egg this girl hid. Depends on how well it was hidden.]

[Is it just her or is he... wearing a winged hat? And carrying a caduceus? And she suspects if the video panned downward, he'd be wearing winged sandals.]

Talaria. [She realizes she's spoken aloud and shakes her head to clear her thoughts. It can't be- Except Hades is already here, isn't he?]

[He paused between each sentence, waiting for Magus to recognize the description]

[At the mention of the word, he looks to his feet] You mean these? [Looking back at the camera, he lifts a foot up until the sandal is visible. It was kind of surprising to hear someone that actually knew not only of winged sandals in general but of that particular word.]

Wild! What's the story behind this tradition? Are the eggs supposed to represent something else ... or.. what?

[Is his skin... blue ~~like her hair~~?]

[His question goes unanswered just for the moment. Pull it together, Ami. It'd be very rude to ignore him and ask all your questions for him instead.]

This may sound rude or forward of me, but could it be... you're Hermes?

I don't know, nothing has happened to it when you touched it, so maybe not. or maybe it's one of the good ones.

I have not heard of such before. Does it contain itself to the native inhabitants of one world or to all beings everywhere?

You got it, Babe! [He sounded elated, probably because so few people seemed to have knowledge of the pantheon in this era] The question is, who are you? [He didn't wait for her to answer before summoning a scroll seemingly out of thin air]

It's supposed to focus more on Greece [And the pantheon there].. but a little birdy told me the fates have moonlighted as the norns.. so the tapestry of fate is probably universal, babe.

Just look at how it's been decorated. I'd love to meet the chicken that laid this.

Mm hmm. [Hermes agreed. He was a little dubious but like usual he was easily placated]

[She stiffens. That thing... It couldn't also tell him who else she is, could it? If it's magical?]

That's right. Ami Mizuno. [She speaks a bit overly distinctly.]

(ooc: and if it'd have that ability - it's been too long for me to remember - feel totally free for him to know XD)

Of course it is. I suppose there is no way for one mortal to find out the fate of another? Nothing that can be done in return? [He may just have to fight through the guards.]

[Oh don't worry about it babe, it's only got the basics here. Your name, occupation that sort of thing. On further inspection he notices something interesting...]

Oops, There's another name here. I could swear I'd heard that name before...

[He gets quiet for a moment as it looks like he's mouthing the word Mercury a couple of times]

Oh right! That's the name I was given when we answered that ad the Romans sent out asking for their own Pantheon. [He shook his head, remembering the whole episode] After that whole fiasco with Ra, I think they would have accepted anyone as their Gods.

Say.. but why would you also bare that name?

[ooc:Okay kewl 8D. I was going to pretend he didn't read the whole entry on her if you didn't give it the okay :3 but since you did, Sweet 8D!]

There's nothing like that in your own world?

Nothing doing. The Fates are there to predict and determine the future, not dole out that classified info. [Or one realllllllly large vicious spider... unless they upped security since Herc and Icarus stole the thing]

I see. [Yeah, he's going to need to find a way to get it. All that matters is what it says about Schala. If it even touches on her.]

[There are times she bitterly, bitterly regrets the various ways this place has of revealing her identity. The sad part is she's almost used to it, between people able to see through illusions, people noticing where she's been and what she's said, and... Hermes, she supposes, being another incarnation of herself, technically.]

Really? I'd think every place would have heard of something like that. It's not like destiny and fate is something only one world possesses. Hm, who knows.

[And Hermes being the fairly easy going type, isn't at all suspicious why Magus is so interested in this]

The moogles booby-trapped some of them, yes.

[Allen makes a slight face, he doesn't want to think about the poor chicken that might of had to lay that egg.]

My world's fate was crafted by an alien being. It did not script out every life, but it scripted out where it wanted all life to go.

Now you've got me curious? Maybe I might find more of these little guys.

An alien being...? I don't suppose this alien being ever consorted with a trio of gnarled elderly women carrying around one eyeball?
