[Naoto stood in Port Royal, the place she has pretty much made her home and she stood there with her arms at her sides, in front of a jail cell where a bunch of convicts were staying.]

Now that the usual circumstances are over, I can let some of you out. But be warned what you have done will still go on your record.

[She goes to open the cell, her gun pretty close to her in case one of the pirates tried to grab her as she unlocked the cell, letting a woman go before closing it again.]

If I catch you doing anything again, I will put you back in there for a much longer time, do I make myself clear.

[The woman who were released was almost to the point of tears as she nodded slightly.]

Very well, since you understand, you may go.

[Naoto watched as the woman left and once she was certain they had she walked on over to her desk, taking a seat. While she really does love this job, and hoped that she was making her parents proud, she wasn't overly fond of all the paper work that came with it. So with a sigh she reached on over to start to work, as one of the cell mates starts to yell.]

Just another day on the job.

[That... was an odd thing to see broadcasted on the network this place has. Haruka considers it for a moment, then replies, keeping it voice only.]

Was there a reason you wanted everyone to see that? Or is that just how things are done here?

[Most of the other messages she's seen have been directed at somebody. But that was a new one. And seeing jail cells and pirates, well, she's curious.]

Given the nature of what recently transpired is it fair to hold certain individuals accountable for what they were unable to control?

[Detaining them for their own good or the good of others.. fine but putting it on their permanent record was a bit much.]

To what do we owe this rare glimpse into the penal system? [Ciel held no great love for the police, in any era] If you were trying to make an example out of that woman, I doubt it will deter any future offenders.

[Not to mention how embarrassing it must be for the woman herself.. the fact that she'd been incarcerated had now been advertised to anyone with a communicator]

[Makoto looked aghast at the scene before her. By the end of those two weeks she had discovered that she had been transforming into a different sort of magical girl and that Naoto had been hot on her trail. This could have been her, locked behind bars and sharing space with real criminals.]

[As for the woman she went and looked at the paper she had on her desk.]

Attempted murder. Given the fact that she wasn't herself at the time I let her go, but because she did it in another version of herself and remembers it, it will go on her record for a set amount of time.

I run the Port Royal division of the police force. [She looks on over towards the cell.] This is the only world that has jail cells on it, so it seemed logical to have a police force here.

[While she does feel bad for having to have arrested you, it was a lot safer to do than let you run free.]

It will be put on your record, but due to the fact that you are a minor, it will only be on there for a set number of years.

I was letting a prisoner go. Since they were one from a change, it was for the best, otherwise it will start getting over crowded.

I can understand where you are coming from, but some of these people went as far as attempted murder. Even if it wasn't 'them' per say, that type of crime cannot go unpunished.

[Thus why it's on the record, instead of a longer jail sentence.]
