Alright look, we have been working against each other the entire time... I don't know about you but I am getting tired of working at cross purposes. So, how about this? The hero-types have their own 'cute, little' organizations, why don't we form one?

We could form our own, Dark Society!

This way I won't accidentally interfere in your plots, you won't interfere in mine, quid pro quo.

And certain... dark fairies who keep involving former conspirators in their pathetically aimless plots can be dealt with by the group unless they decide to fall in line.
Come on, what do you say? It's better than ruining each others schemes, isn't it?

Is that right...? I am none too surprised. [ sebastian smirks. ] But I suppose those fools have never heard of the saying the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Logic doesn't dictate their actions, [ a shake of the head. ] ...tsk. I have no objections, but, of course, the decision falls upon my Master. I am but a servant, after all.

Yeah, of course. Go talk to the kid, I'm sure he will see the advantage in this. If he wants to find those people he will have to get them out of the darkness anyway. I'll help him with that where the Mouse would just say it was a bad idea.

It will be nice to have some one of your skills on our team.

What choice is there? If you want there to be any progress you have to get with the winning team, and with the forces of darkness aligned those hero-types wouldn't stand a chance!

[Somewhat ironically.. Ciel was used to being the one that broke up organizations like this in his own time, but.. given the choices it seemed more prudent to side with Hades than the others. He'd yet to see even a thread of competence between the king's followers, nor had it done him any good to try and work with them. Hades on the other hand... was useful, and aligning with him would in turn also grant him protection from Hades own plots...]

This "Dark Society" as you put it.. would not be public knowledge, I'm assuming? [He still had to dot his i's and cross his t's] I do understand that accidents may happen, identities may be revealed but.. I just don't wish to make a spectacle of myself needlessly.

[Plus, he could still work on getting along better with the masses.... for various reasons]

And.. would there be any additional benefits to this arrangement? for instance.. if I joined, naturally, I wouldn't try to interfere with any of the other members plots... but could we also.. keep a list of individuals that are not in the society that should be safe from harm...? Albeit.. a short list?

Yes, it will be secret. What good is a 'Dark Society' if everyone knows about it? We wouldn't even tell them it existed. Now, if it is found out, there's not much we can do about that... but I doubt these fools would be able to piece that together.

Yeah, you know, a list isn't a bad idea. I have a name I want to put on there myself. Zeus... there is something up with him. He's off limits until I find out what it is.

Yeah, she is... Normally I'm not a fan of fairies much either but in her case doubly so. I don't know what happened, one minute we were all working together in one great villain family and the next, she gets a little more power and forgets all about our deal. Well, what are you gonna do, eh? Some people just aren't very trustworthy.

Once I touch base with the others we should have a meeting of some kind, sort out the details and all that. I'll let you know when and where.

Think of it as a loose business arrangement. You need something, the group will help you out, we need something, then you will help us out. It's a win-win situation.

And besides it could always be helpful to keep those important people out of certain situations, am I right?

That is what the Dark Society would be for. Anyone who screws up has to answer to the group. Fair and simple. We won't pull any punches like those hero-types would.

That would depend on what you want wouldn't it? What is the thing you want most in all of these worlds? Help the group and the group will help you achieve that.

Oh and you could put your own name on the list of 'people to leave alone'... if you just want to avoid everyone else's plans.

Well, since I don't know who I'm dealing with that could be a bit of a two-edged sword. "Trust" is kind of essential to build such an agreement on and while I'm pretty certain I like you, the same can't necessarily be said for others.
