[ There's a young boy that appears on the screen, looking very perplexed.  He also appears to be quite upside down... possibly due to the fact that he's holding his communicator the wrong way. He's also mumbling something about uselessly complex Midgardian gadgets and how ironic it was that everyone thought he was going to be the one to cause Ragnarok  all the while attempting to shoo off some moogles trying to be 'helpful'. His lips twist down into an adorable pout and the view is momentarily obscured as he obviously pokes the camera a few times. ]

I'm... not sure if this is on...?

[ His brow furrows as he stares at it in utter bafflement before one of the moogles finally manages to point out to him that he's holding his communicator entirely the wrong way.  The screen blurs for a moment and he appears right-side up when it clears again.  Thank goodness the little flying buggers seemed to be a little more technologically inclined then he was.  They showed him how to turn the thing on to begin with too.  Who knew how long that would have taken him otherwise. ]

Sorry, I have... a profound distaste for devices like these.  These 'moogles' have been telling me what's happened, but I know that sprites and faerie like creatures are not always the most reliable source of information.  So please, what is with this darkness business?

It ain't that bad little fella and them moogles are just trying to help. [ though they can be a pain. ] ...it's this world swallowing entity, as far as I been told, and it spits out these awful little critters that eat hearts.

[ HOLY CROW A TALKING PONY- Oh wait rewind a bit, nothing too alarming in his personal opinion. And personally he would rather take he opinion of a talking horse over a faerie any day of the week. ]

Creatures that eat hearts? That sounds properly terrifying.

[ ain't nothing wrong with no talkin' ponies! but trusting her over the moogles is definitely the best choice! ] eYup, and that about says it right there. But them things come out of the Darkness apparently, but there are also some no good people here that can summon the little demons.

They can even be summoned? How could one even summon a heart eating being of darkness? It sounds awfully dangerous to me.

eYup. I ain't sure how, but I been told that it's possible. ...might be some sort of magic or power or something. It's anything but good. d'Ya need any help little fella, or did the moogles explain most everything else?

The moogles did explain all the basics to me for the most part, I'm sure I'll figure out more of the particulars in due time. You're being very helpful as well! May I ask your name, Miss?
