Peace is determined not to last long, it seems...

[The voice that comes across the feed is resigned and sorrowful. To think true peace is long-lasting is naïve, but Zelda had not expected to lose Hyrule again so soon after it was relinquished from the grip of Ganondorf and the Twilit realm. The camera is focused on a fallen moogle however, wounded and looking more than a little rattled. A gloved hand comes into view from the side, glowing with a gold aura. Soon, that aura envelopes the moogle as well and all traces of injury are gone.]

W-Wow! Thanks, kupo! Those Heartless sure got me good! But... don't be sad, kupo. We're always making progress towards saving people's homes!

I will do what I must to save my home, and to help others save theirs if I am able.

Let's just focus on getting you settled in first, kupo. Oh--! [It's then that the moogle notices the communicator is on and decides now's a good time to show Zelda how to use it. For the first time, the feed gets a good glimpse of her: a young woman with long brown hair and donning a coronation dress. She was queen for an hour before this happened.] Introduce yourself, Miss Zelda!

[The feed, held sideways, is given a rather perplexed look.] What manner of creature is this? [It had no eyes, nor a mouth, but these-- well... These could be ears? She turns the feed upright, studying the 'creature'.]

No, no! It's not a living thing, kupo. It's how people here communicate. Just speak into it and other people will hear you!

[After casting the moogle a fleeting uncertain look, Zelda looks back at the thing.] Greetings. My name is Zelda. I come from a land called Hyrule. Please, if there are any Hylians out there, I urge you to contact me immediately. I also wish to know how I may be able to help against this invasion of darkness. Thank you. [And then she looks back at the moogle for approval, who nods and shows her how to turn the communicator off again.]

It's unfair to treat others poorly, especially strangers who do not deserve such ire. [She smiles sadly and nods.] Well met, Qui-Gon. Are you a new arrival as well?

Yes... [Even if entire kingdoms couldn't be spared, she had hoped some had escaped the darkness. There are families lost out there; she would give her safety in exchange for theirs in a heartbeat.] But there is still hope. Surely there is a way to save others from the darkness.

As far as I know, the darkness is in charge. People arrive, others leave, it's all sporadic. Unfortunately.

[Lizzie had been spending her time here and in Land of Dragons perfecting her skills with a sword. Although she still considered it uncute and probably would always think of it that way, she knew that for now she had no choice if she wanted to help protect those she cared about. So with another day at her training place, she had started to make her way back home when she came across someone she was sure she didn't recognize.]

[Renge is quiet for a moment. Now why does that name sound awfully familiar? Otaku sense tingling.]

[Completely ignoring what was actually asked and focusing on her clothes instead.]

[Zelda just stares at him for a long moment, but otherwise her surprise doesn't show much.]

Yes, I am. His name is Link. [Her heart lifts, optimistic. If there's a chance he's here, then there is hope after all.] Do you know him?

Well met, Naoto. [She lowers her head for a moment, solemn.] Even were it not my duty, I could not stand by while entire worlds are lost and people are suffering.

One of those creatures... he called it a "heartless", attacked us when he greeted me. It surprised us and fell upon him with alarming speed.

Rude behavior only begets further rudeness, and you have all been so kind to me thus far. [She nods once.] Well met, Allen. You speak as though politeness is uncommon among arrivals.

[The voice catches Zelda's attention, prompting her to turn and regard the source. She studies her quickly, noting a fashion that is not too unlike that of Castle Town's. It makes her a little homesick already, but she offers a polite smile in spite of it.]

I am. Are you native to this world?

['Bonjour'? Is that how they say hello here? she wonders. She makes note of it to possibly ask later. She's a little caught off-guard by the question about her dress, but doesn't see the harm in answering.]

Hello. It was made for me by very talented seamstresses in Hyrule.

[She shakes her head slightly. Though given how long she had been living in these worlds she could be considered as such.]

No, I did not live here originally. Until a year ago I lived in a place called London. [With that she curtsys] But it's still a pleasure to meet you. My name is Elizabeth Middleford and I welcome you to Traverse Town.

That's admirable. While the worlds here are safe to an extent there are many others that still need our help and I believe in order to do this we need to find out the truth about this darkness. [She was a detective, finding out the truth was something she was serious about.]
