All right, everyone, listen up!

[It's Dante and he's on the video feed decked in his pirate captain attire with a new addition: a monkey on his shoulder.]

It's my birthday today and thanks to you guys, it's been amazing. The best. I was thinking, why end all the fun there? I figured I'd treat us all for something nice!

[And he gives the monkey the communicator so it moves farther away like they had practiced.]

In honor of my special day, I decided to do a party. We got food, we got booze, we even got juice for all the minors who want to take a ride on my ship. What better time to take it on a maiden voyage than to party? Everyone's invited! If you don't know me, you definitely have to bring me a present though. It's only fair.

[And his pet drops the communicator to climb up Dante's coat and onto his shoulder again. He's chuckling.]

I wasn't done yet, Charlie. Anyway, I know you guys love me so don't be shy. Get yourselves to Port Royal, my ship is really hard to miss at the docks. It's the only one that doesn't smell bad.

For your information, you're going to ruin somethin' I've been waiting for a really long time. I haven't had a birthday party since I was six.

Well, you go knock on that door, tell him it's my birthday and that I demand his presence or else my birthday will be ruined.

[He laughed at that.]

[ Ah jeez why you gotta go and pull the guilt card. ]

Of course I got you something. Can't you tell when someone's just trying to press your buttons?

[He grinned.]

Yes I can. And now I get a present. Hurry your ass up.

Yeah yeah, try not to sink that ship of yours before I get there.

[ He performs an eyeroll before clicking his communicator off.

Sometime later he's there, half dragging, half shoving some ridiculous person sized monstrosity with some wrapping paper somewhat sloppily wrapped all the way around it just barely held on by a mess of scotch tape. ]

Still afloat? I'm impressed.

I thought maybe you might of had a clue.

I'll have to think about it. [Give her a second.] Okay, but I might try and bring some friends of mine as well.

I know it isn't.

Begging your pardon Cap'n but a sinking ship is a fine way to ruin a party.

[ He's been overworking himself with the repairs, so he's rather frustrated. Despite being more dangerous, Dante doesn't intimidate him as much as Captain Hook did. ]

Have you noticed the saltwater and barnacle damage to most of the hull? The mast was partially rotted.

[ He gives more details on terrible shape the ship is in, while continuing to fix what he can.]

I haven't even started on the weapons! Is anyone else on the crew skilled with repairs?

Oh, um. I... ( you really shouldn't tell her things like that, it will be taken rather literally. she frowns lightly ) I didn't know his being there meant so much to you. I... could attempt to pull him from his work, perhaps.

Now, now~ I suppose I'll let you get away with that kind of talk this time, but only because it's your birthday!

[Port Royal, eh? Can't say he's ever been! But he's looking forward to it, indeed, if only to give Dante his gifts.

So he'll be coming along in no time as chipper as ever, with a brightly wrapped parcel in a bag for him...along with a little something "extra".]
