Essentially, yes. Not everyone has the ability to feel it, however. Only those who are Force-sensitive are able to sense and use the Force. Where I'm from, we have Jedi. They are an Order of Force-sensitive people who dedicate their lives to studying and understanding this power; I am also a Jedi.
