[Ven's on the comms, looking... "older" is the best word for it. It's been a very long couple of weeks, and while very, very good stuff happened, a lot of bad happened as well. And he's not where he was when he last broadcast - instead, he's sitting on a swath of green grass, a white cat with tufted ears snoozing next to him and a growing chocobo happily galloping around in the background. He's on a different world, one that they'd been looking for since Aqua came back.]

So now Mickey's talked about it a little. I wish we could tell you more - we don't know a lot about the history of the Keyblades, or how they work specifically. They've been around for so long that things have just been lost to time, even for us. We know they work, and we're going to use them to protect people. That's the point of them - we have a directive to keep the worlds safe, and all the people on them. We're not perfect at it, but we do the best we can, and we're going to keep doing everything possible until we find a way to get all of you home. We know what it's like to miss a place that's important to you.

[He looks around as he says that; they were without their home for too long. He absolutely can't blame others for wanting an easy solution, even if they have none to give.]

Hmm...I'm rather concerned now that the Keyblade wielders have been revealed...

Why? It's not like we could hide forever... Everything's gone so crazy since Sora's first time out, there's no keeping it quiet anymore.

We probably will be, but it doesn't matter - it's our job to keep the worlds and people in them safe. We can't not do it just because we're afraid someone's going to do something.

...Of course. I will do what I can as well, even without a Keyblade.

[Ven nods.] That's the important thing. Everyone's going to need to help for this. The Keyblades aren't all-powerful; I think your magic is stronger than mine. If people think they can't do anything and they just have to depend on us, they're completely wrong.

Hmm...what is it about the Keyblades that allow them to permanently destroy a Heartless?

I'm not sure. Probably their ties to the Light? The Light and Darkness are important here, more important than I've heard about them being on any other world. And Keyblades come from there.

That is quite possible. They originate from this realm, correct?

[It would explain why even his own light-based spells can't destroy the Heartless, because his magic comes from another world.]

Yeah, I haven't heard of them being in anyone else's universe. I kind of think that no one who's not from this universe can use one - we're very different in a lot of ways from the other worlds I've heard people talk about.
