[Here is Frog, looking serious as ever. He's standing at the docks of a gummi ship station, ready to disembark, but before he does, he makes a quick announcement.]

On behest of His Majesty the King, I am lending my blade to the defence of Halloween Town. [ croak ] Should anyone seek me, you may find me there.

[It's amongst his less preferred worlds, mostly because of the form he takes there, but it's better than Marle being there alone now Lucca is gone. Likewise, now Hades is there too, he can keep a close eye on him. A minor annoyance like appearance is something he has more than enough experience in ignoring.]

Cyrus... If you wish to join me, you are welcome to do so, old friend. Though if you would prefer to travel the worlds instead, I pray you take due care. [ croak ] The Heartless are not an enemy to underestimate.

[Which is a roundabout way of saying he's worried about his BFF. Funny how that works out, when it used to always be Cyrus who worried about him. But if something happened to Cyrus again, Frog would never forgive himself.

Frog looks like he's on the verge of saying more, but he doesn't; he simply gives a formal nod and ends the feed.]

What an appropriate place for you, Frog.

[ croak ] You'd feel more at home there than I. It is a gloomy place, and filled with death, not unlike your Keep.

And full of odd looking creatures who likely wouldn't look twice at a talking frog.

Of course, you're not incorrect about the similarities between that place and the Keep. [Not that the Keep was ever Home.]

[ croak ] There are some differences, however. The townspeople are friendly, and not inclined to attempt to kill their visitors.

[Even if the first time he visited, one of them found it fun to get the jump on Frog and startle him out of his wits. Not that he'd admit to that particular incident...]

When an enemy comes into your territory during war, of course you kill them.

And if an enemy stands in your path, you slay them? There are no absolutes in war, Magus.

No, but there are times for simple amusements.

[ croak ] A childish answer, worthy of scorn at most.

[So not impressed, and with no interest in continuing the current topic. To think Magus might have changed was expecting too much.]

'Halloween town'? I admit, I had been intending to see some of the worlds, I see no reason why Halloween Town could not be my first.

I would be honoured for your company. [ croak ] Though I ought warn you, the town will alter your appearance so that you better blend in with the locals. It is nothing to be alarmed by.
