03 [Accidental Video/Action] Here in a flash and gone without a trace

[Here's Riku on a day trip to Traverse-- except he seems to be getting sidetracked. The view is odd, his communicator clearly taping the whole thing from where it fell on the ground. But even in the dimness of Traverse's eternal nights, something odd is clearly going on.

Riku's vest jerks, pulling him back into an alley and then off to the side, dragging him left and right erratically, like it was being buffeted in a storm.]

What-- Who's there?!

[Apparently, whoever's gotten a hold of his clothes isn't talking, though, so Riku shrugs his outer vest off quickly, summoning Way to the Dawn and kneeling. What in the Worlds was it?]

Show yourself-! [And then the invisible hands grab the back of his inner vest, taking him up into the air and careening wildly.]

[Riku recognizes that voice. Oswald?? If you have anything to do with this, bunny, you're going into the stew pot. For now, though, Riku's busy fighting this invisible fiends.]

[He wasn't going to eat any stew Os has been in anyway. It might make him sick. Meantime, Os, you might note that Riku's slashing back to no avail.]

[And all that scream does is make Riku look around wildly. Was the rabbit here and getting eaten?] Hey! Are you okay?

[Of course, this is when the ghost(s) chooses to drop Riku like a hot potato, a cold wind swirling around briefly along with mad cackling and then disappearing. Landing in a crouch, Riku backs against a wall and kicks his communicator lightly into the air to scoop it up.] ...Looks like they're gone. I can't sense any presence.

[Hey, look! It's Sora's bedroom! But, yeeech, it's a mess. Look at that random pair of black socks, randomly and carelessly flung halfway underneath his bed! Really, you'd think Sora would be more mindful o-

wait, no, they're flopping. It's Oswald hiding under there, quaking in abject fear. Never mind. False alarm.]

You sure they're gone?

[YOU KNOW, EVEN THOUGH HE'S NOT EVEN ON THE SAME PLANET AS RIKU. YOU NEVER KNOW.]

[Wha-what. Riku just lost all his little respect for you, Socks. And now he's amused.] ...Yeah, I'm sure. You can crawl out now.

[A girl? What was a girl doing here? Riku looks around wildly for the source before he spots his communicator on the ground.]

Traverse. There's something invisible here- tell everyone to stay away!

[Call for help? Never. And then he nearly smashes into an overhang.]

Wait- don't come ov-- !!

[What he's been trying to say is abruptly cut off-- colliding into a window ledge does that. But Riku manages to get free, sliding half on the wall back down to the ground. He sticks close to the brick, eyes sweeping the area for all the good it can do. He cuts at air once, just to see if there's anything tangible to hit.]

[Katara probably can't mistake the alley when Riku runs out of it, apparently whatever got him before is not yet ready to relinquish it's toy, however, and Riku unbalances, one arm barely catching himself before he's being towed by his pants this time.]

[Riku doesn't waste surprise at the sudden wall of ice, twisting to hit it feet first and using the rebound to half-roll, half-spring back, tearing his vest away from the invisible force.]

Keep your back to the wall- it might go after you. [There's nothing he can do about not getting the girl involved now, but he can hope that whatever this is might show itself soon.]

We don't know what we're up against. [Case in point, the invisible hand has just dragged him out of sight of the communicator but still fairly close to the alley from the sound of his voice. The feed shows nothing for several seconds then Riku drops down nearly on top of the communicator, scooping it up in his free hand. A large bruise noticeably covers his left bicep.]

I've got it under control. It might go after you next if you come here.

It might be. [But Invisibles are too powerful to have appeared so suddenly in Traverse... and this one didn't seem interested in fighting him so much as making sport of him.]

Stay where you are, Kairi. [He can't stress this enough. He has his back to the wall now, not even looking at the communicator in favor of keeping an eye on the surroundings. And then Riku's torso jerks towards the left a bit, a loud rip signalling that his vest has finally had enough of the abuse.]

[You are going to stay in port when you arrive like a good princess if he can help it, missy. But Kairi's outburst appears to have sparked something because something white flashes at the corner of Riku's eye and he turns-- unfortunately their mystery invisible uses this opportunity to yank Riku's communicator away. Great. An otherworldly cackling starts to make itself heard, echoing around the alley as it zips around and then---

Have a view of rapidly shrinking Traverse and starry skies, Kairi-- up until Riku releases Dark bursts of energy three inches above and below the communicator. A transluscent white spirit flashes into existence briefly, then Riku's communicator falls.]

...What was that? [Riku snatches his communicator out of the air but the apparition doesn't appear again.]
