[ Traverse Town - Late Night - Open for Action Only but the Video can be watched by the entire Network]

[Some one had compared him to a helpless flower that had taken root here… ]

The large body heartless beat its fists against its chest as the girl screamed. She recoiled away from the monster accidentally hitting the record feature when she bumped against the wall of the building behind her. The device instantly began capturing video, the very video that was being shown now.
She had no defense and no way to escape pinned to the wall as she was. The heartless had the advantage and it knew it. That was why is charged forward with wild abandon fully expecting a quick victory and a freshly stolen heart.
Instead it met a swift end as in a flurry of petals a single rose landed in the creature’s neck causing it to dissolve into colorful balls of supplies.
The girl gasped and clasped her hands over her mouth as she was saved. Right before the video ended she yelled something about being saved by a handsome man dressed in black wearing a white mask.

[ Disney Castle - Morning - Open for Video/Text/Action ]

[ Chloe stands near a group of trees in the backyard of the small ‘White Rose’ florist and gift shop. One hand gently rests against the trunk of a tree while the other holds a crucifix that hangs from a necklace he wears around his neck. ]

…forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.

[ Praying to God for forgiveness, redemption, and the strength to make the right decisions now that he had no one else to stop him if he broke his oath and stepped too far into the growing darkness. Hopefully he would be strong enough to continue fighting against the darkness without falling prey to it. ]

[ A flower that had taken root here, was he? Then he was a flower with hidden thorns. ]

[OOC: Tuxedo Kamen?!
Well, no, not quiet. I couldn’t resist making the comparison between Chloe and Tuxedo Kamen. They both fight with rose weapons, dress in black and wear white masks. So, Sailor Moon people if you want to think it might be Tuxedo Kamen, that mistaken identity would be awesome.

All characters can see the NPC video but no one can reply to that section unless you want to do an action post. Chloe wouldn’t be using his communicator that would give his identity away!
You can use any kind of reply to the prayer section below that one. I wanted to give a little taste of what Chloe gets into while no one is paying attention without giving the whole game away. ]

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

[Chloe ran down the darkened road trying to place distance between himself and the girl he had just saved. It would have been too difficult to stand there and answer her questions.
That sudden voice, calling for him to stop? It was unexpected to say the least. He hadn’t heard the sound of footsteps chasing after him. He had been carefully listening for that… so where had she come from?

Above? Maybe he could out distance this pursuer? It was not a gentlemanly thing to do but he ignored the ladies request for him to stop, choosing instead to switch direction so maybe she could be lost in the twists and turns of the Traverse Town back allies. ]

( so he didn't want to be caught... at least that's what she gathered from his continued sprint. luckily for neptune she had quite a bit of practice chasing the wind... she wasn't one to be easily lost either, relying on her intuition to take try and take the same turns the stranger had. why was he running? did he have something to hide? prince... )

[Chloe swiftly rounded another corner and ducked into the frame doorway of a building. The door itself was locked however this gave him the perfect cover to glance back at he direction he had come to see if his pursuer was still there. ]

( when she heard the footsteps suddenly come to a stop, neptune ceased movement as well. she looked from side to side into the shadows... she could feel the presence of someone there but... the aura of the earth that usually surrounded mamoru, wasn't ) Show yourself! ( a pause... while she listened... ) If you remain hidden I will have no choice but to think of you as an enemy.

[While Chloe decided not to step out into the open he had no choice but to speak, though his voice bounced off the buildings in the alley way making it difficult to exactly pinpoint were the sound was coming from. ]

It would be better if you thought of me as a mere illusion. You aren’t a part of the mission, we have no reason to be enemies. Just allow this incident to fade from your mind as if it never happened.

[She was closing in. If she managed to get too close maybe even the shadows he was so used to hiding himself in wouldn’t be enough to conceal him. ]

( the echoing voice causes her to glance around the whole area again -- eyes searching for a source but coming up short... ) Mission? ( she seems to be ignoring the rest... for now )

The mission to fight back against the Heartless. There doesn’t appear to be much else we can do, but try to beat them back until a more permanent solution can be found.

If your intentions are pure... then why do you hide yourself? ( wow neptune... pot calling the kettle black, much? )

[ She did have a good point really.]

Habit?
Surely you can appreciate the need for discretion in matters like this? Not everyone would understand actions like this.

( she pauses, because it's true -- it's definitely something that she can understand, having done the same thing herself... but she doesn't like being on the receiving end of it, it seems... ) Then you should be aware that it also makes you a target, whether it's your intention or not.

A target?
[One can almost hear the smirk in his words. ]

Do you intend to track me down?

( a long, measured pause ) As long as you don't intend to bring harm to this town, or others, that won't be necessary.

My only goal is the defeat of the heartless.

[Not that he couldn’t or wouldn’t strike a human target he just didn’t know anyone evil enough to require that level of intervention. ]

Until a more permanent solution to their invasion can be found all I can do is beat them back for a while. The town and its residents are quite safe.

... And you plan to continue to do so from the shadows, then?

Fighting from the shadows is something I am used to.

The mantra of an assassin, surely the heartless could be called ‘black beasts’. ]

Besides, I doubt my brand of justice would be welcomed.

[Assassins would be considered criminals here just as they were at home, wouldn’t they? ]

( there's a long pause. and then finally -- ) Very well. But be aware... I'm certain you're not the only one with secrets to keep. ( and she turns on her heel, walking away )

[Not the only one with secrets to keep?

No, perhaps not. Everyone had something they wished to keep hidden didn’t they?

Once the girl turned and began walking away Chloe also began to move, heading in the opposite direction. Maybe he was being too cautious and it really would be alright to fight in the light of day, but old habits like this were difficult to break. For right now he would continue to fight the only way he knew how to. ]
