[Kadaj is in Traverse Town, and for the the first time since it's happened he finally shows himself. He looks like someone's odd idea of a ragdoll and he doesn't look too happy about it.]

Dead people are supposed to go away. Not mingle around. Just how am I supposed to kill them when I get bored?!

[A pause. He goes quiet for a long while, looking at nothing, before he finally smiles and speaks again.]

Hey, maybe they will get bored and kill you for a change? What do ya say, sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

They can't hurt me. What are they, other than voices of the past?

Voices of the past, vengeful souls bent on revenge… same thing really.

How do you know that? Some angry types just strike out at whoever happens to be around… Not like anyone I could name or…

[Yeah, Kadaj jumps, if only slightly. He turns to face Hades. He didn't see why the soul mattered. It had nothing to do with his body or mind. He wasn't anyone's puppet.

...Besides, he had little left to lose.

He reaches his hand out, tentative.]

Welcome to the team. Now, about these heartless… you just have to look inside yourself in order to control them. Find the darkness in yourself and then project that out at one of the heartless. Easy, right? Here give it a try.

[One lil shadow heartless appears. It looks a little confused but decides to stand there swaying until it has a idea what it should do. ]

That doesn't sound very hard.

[Controlling the heartless sounded similar enough to controlling his shadow creepers, and Kadaj knew he had plenty of this darkness in him. He walked up to the heartless, watching it. It wasn't any match for his darkness. Kadaj projected all that wrath onto the heartless, urging it to slash at no target. He lifted up a hand, which was more for show than influence.]

[Quick study. ]

Good job now… how about sending it to attack something likeee….

[Searching around for an object. ]

That tree over there. Do you think you can do that?
