fourth flame ☀ accidental video/action

[Zuko's not going to live this one down. He had begun the habit of sleeping with his Pokémon egg, since he read somewhere that it would help it without its parents around to take care of it. So when the video begins accidentally, it gives the entire network a view of mommy!Zuko fast asleep, the egg nestled safely under his arm.

That is, until the egg begins to move. Zuko starts awake, confused and pushing his hair from his eyes. Even as he does so, a crack appears at the top of the egg, and begins to get larger and larger...

WAT DO. After blinking in confusion at the egg for a few more seconds, Zuko throws the covers off and gets out of bed, quickly but careful not to jostle it. He disappears off camera and yells down the hall.]

Hey, Aang! I think the egg's hatching! What am I supposed to--?!

[...Do. It's a little too late -- the egg is already hatching. Zuko reappears on camera in time to see a head emerge from the egg, and little clawed paws prising the shell apart. In no time at all the little orange lizard has emerged.]

[Zuko stares and approaches it cautiously, and the little creature cocks its head.] Charmander?

...You can talk. [Zuko kneels down and outstretches a hand. The Pokémon sniffs it, then lets out an 'achoo!' and sneezes a tiny burst of flame.] --Hey, watch it! [On reflex, Zuko blocks the fire before it can burn him.]

Char! Char! [The Charmander looks pleased with itself, and begins to wave its flaming tail around like a happy puppy. Zuko scrambles to pick it up before it can set anything on fire.] Didn't you hear me?! I told you to watch it!

[It just blinks innocently, smoke still curling from its nostrils. At a loss, Zuko sighs and holds the lizard at arm's length.]

...What am I gonna do with you?

Someone told me it was a... pokey-thing. [He can't even remember, aside from that it'd been a stupid name.] It can Firebend like a dragon, and it looks like one, but it isn't.

[But that might be because it's newly hatched and just hasn't learned to talk yet? All these other worldly monsters are confusing.]

[Rinoa just has to giggle at this, for several seconds. It's adorable! And kind of reminds her of Squall a little bit, actually - he wouldn't know what do do with anything small either. Finally she gets the giggling under control, though she's still grinning widely, to say actual words.]
