[Dante had woken up in the morning to find himself in someones skin. For once, it wasn't the scent of something that woke him up but the feel of someone. Truth be told, he felt a lot of things. It was kind of annoying. When the guy sat up to investigate, he was met with gray hairs and a strange ache on his back. He hopped out of bed only to find more white hairs and a decent healthy color on his skin. He ran to the only place he could find a mirror and stared for minutes at the reflection of an old wise man. He turned on the feed once realization dawned upon him.]

I had a dream like this when I was a kid. [Qui-gon had a grin across his old and wise face and there was definitely a strange change in speech patterns taking effect.] Sure, I didn't imagine myself in an old-man's body, but it's not so bad I guess. No offense to the owner, you're still a bad-ass though. I can get used to this.

[As if remembering something, Qui-Gon turned with a whirl of gray hair as he searched for that which made a Jedi so grand in his eyes.] Found it! [And he returned to the mirror, twirling the light saber for a moment before posing, the light humming of the green saber glowing nearby his cheek. Like a baws.]

Um...that's...not your body is it? [Way to state the obvious.]

[ There is a lot to be said for this broadcast in the opinion of this particular redhead. Maybe it's the mannerisms or maybe it's his particular way of speaking. 'Genesis' really isn't sure which sells the true identity of this man more, only that something does and he's certain of the identity of this individual as a result. Certain enough not to bother checking his network ID before activating the feed. ]

Dante. That is you, isn't it? You're -- [ a lot of things, from the looks of it, and it'd be all too easy to tease, but ] -- well, you're still very much yourself from the sound of things. Do you know who this is? [ Because he really doesn't want to say. It's just weird introducing himself in this body with this voice. He pauses briefly, as though contemplating, then charges into the matter with -- ]

And what's a jedi?

[Unlike Val, Dante wasn't really good at figuring things out. He stared for a moment.]

I've never seen a read head like that, before so I'm guessin' this is someone else.

[And then she asked that question.]

There's only one person I know who asks all the questions. Val, you look good as a red-head.

I would appreciate if you were more respectful with my Master's body and belongings. And for your information, Master Qui-Gon is one of the greatest Jedi around, not an "old man" or that other thing you called him. Honestly, what a rude thing to call someone. I thought you were better than that!

[Oh Obi-Wan. Way to make a guy stop having fun. The guy droped the light-saber at the scolding quickly picking it up and looking solemnly at the communicator.]

Hey, I meant no disrespect. He's a bad-ass, you know? He's epic! Have you seen the wrinkles on this guy, he's really old...

I didn't know Padme was here too. How do you like being a woman?

How is being a "bad ass" a good thing? He's not that old! He looks very nice for a man his age!

Yes, Senator Amidala is living with us. ...It's awkward. The only upside to this is that I can still uphold my duty of protecting her and seeing to it no harm comes to her body.

I don't think you you understand what bad-ass means. A bad-ass is a person that's amazing, they're really cool, and they kick ass and do amazing things while looking good through it all. Nothin' disrespectful, just amazing.

Oh, don't be foul! Before Master Qui-Gon and I arrived here, our mission was to protect Queen Amidala. Despite the change in times and her now being a Senator, that mission has not changed and it is still our duty. She's much safer with me stuck like this rather than one of the many psychopaths we've got running about this place.

You're right. If I was in a girl's body, well, I won't harass your virgin ears. Being a jedi is ten times better.

[He went and flopped on the bed, petting his beard.]

I'm surprised at you and a little annoyed, but I'm not angry.

I might be stuck in Qui-Gon's body but that doesn't change the fact I am who I am. And I'm not perverted, just very open minded.

Why are you surprised? I get the annoyed, everyone's always annoyed at me, but what did you expect? I love jedi's and I get to be a jedi for once. I'm excited, why can't you see that?

Take it easy, I know the rules and not to abuse. All I ever really wanted was to hold a lightsaber and you know I wouldn't do anything bad to a body that belongs to a jedi master. Not only would he kick my ass but you would too. And you're all ready angry. I don't like it when my favorite hero is mad at me. I'm getting anxiety all of a sudden.[Or was it because he was in an old man's body and he's being overwhelmed by FEELINGS.]

Oh, come on, now. Just breathe, Dante. I'm only making sure the Force and my Master's body are treated with respect! ...Oh dear. You're not used to dealing with the Force, are you?

It takes years of practice to be able to use it effectively, but I can at least teach you how not to... break things with your mind on accident.

[A very pouty Qui-Gon answered the door and held it open for the senator to pass.]

I'm a little disappointed. This wasn't how I wanted to meet you for the first time.

Well, don't you worry. There will be more chances in the future. In the meantime... Sit across from me.

[Qui-Gon eyed the sitting girl and then the spot before her. He gave a contemplative scratch at his beard before heaving a sigh and pulling his robes around him, taking a seat on the ground.]

Okay, now what?

Have you ever meditated before, Dante? If so, this is sort of like that-- except I'm not going to make you sit here and actually meditate.
