[ The woman in the video is looking confused and frightened. Anyone who's met her would notice the distinct lack of her usual poise.]

Uh...hi...uh ...how do I put this? This is weird. After all this time, I still can't get used to anything. I'm actually Joluk Hergal.I'm in someone else's body. Does anyone know her? Are there any freaky powers I should know about, in case they go out of control? Where am I, anyway?

So yeah...body switching, I'm afraid of what'll happen next.

[ Joluk arrives at close to the time they agreed upon. He's put on a very small amount of lipstick, because he wants to try to respect Michiru's wishes. He manages to find the bazaar.]

[After they'd spoken earlier, Ami makes sure to compliment Joluk on the effort.]

You look very pretty. I'm sure Michiru-san would be thankful for your efforts.

[ Even if it's to acknowledge his effort of being presentable, it's still not something he's used to hearing.]

So, should we check out the bazaar first?

[ Now that he's found Ami, he starts looking around. There's something familiar about Agrabah, though in a different way than the Land of Dragons.]

Hey, this place has camels!

[She's gotten somewhat used to them in her time here; but it reminds her this is something you might see... in the Middle East, perhaps; not likely Japan.]

Ah- Could it be, back home, you lived somewhere with camels?

[ Central Asia has camels too.]

Not exactly, but people use them not too far from where I lived, so they're a lot more familiar to me than Pokemon or chocobos.

[The middle of modern Tokyo doesn't. Which is kind of sad because it'd be pretty cool.]

It seems exotic to me.

[ Tokyo's too crowded, and camels can be mean.]

It kinda seems similar to what I've heard the areas west of the Caspian Sea are like.

[ Now he's looking at the food stalls.]

You seem as though you've traveled a great deal. I'm a little jealous. [She admits this easily, with no real ill will.]

Well, my clan's nomadic during the summer, so I guess that counts, and the village my cousin Amira moved to when she got married was pretty far. Going there involved way too much camping.

[ Camping's a pain.]

I haven't really traveled beyond a few weeks journey on horseback back on my home world.

But in places like here

[ He indicates the market]

you can hear about stuff from people who have traveled from different directions.

[(M)ami gives what can only be described as a dreamy sigh.]

I'd really love to experience a life like that. Traveling all over, seeing new sights and having so many new encounters and all the things you'd learn.

That's one way of looking at it.

It's more sleeping in a cold yurt at night, tending the sheep, tending the horses,finding suitable places for grazing,and hunting for food.

I personally prefer living in place with solid walls.

[ (S)he smiles brightly.]

Being able to experience new things is an advantage to being here. There's all these different worlds that are pretty easy to travel to. I've never seen a beach before going to Destiny Islands.

I've never traveled outside of Japan, back home. [And rarely even to other parts of Japan; the sea for a vacation, maybe.] It's been exciting to see so many different places and cultures and traditions.

Yeah, and different times! I haven't really had much exposure to other cultures back home, at least none that were really different.

[ Joluk sees something of interest among the food.]

Ooh, that looks like pilaf! Let's have some!

[The look of polite interest is right at home on Mami's face. Ami nods.]

Shall we stop in here to have some lunch, then? We've been browsing for awhile now.

Okay! The food looks good here.

It takes a good friend to make us notice the things like this, doesn't it? I usually just have a sandwich for dinner.

I guess. It is better to eat with company.

You need to have more than just a sandwich.

It's enough, and nutritious if you make it with the right fillings. And then I can continue my research and my work while I eat.

Well, maybe if it's big enough to keep your strength up.

[ Indicates the food, and points out what he'd like to try.]

[She's glad for the distraction, instead of having to explain herself further. Ami seizes on the chance to change the subject, and chooses something else that sounds exotic. Almost, lured by the familiar face, she asks about sharing their meals; but it'd be rude to ask of a near-stranger.]

[ Joluk would share food with complete strangers. He starts on the pilaf before they even find a place to sit. At least he waited until after Ami ordered.]

Hm, it's not like what I used to have but it's still pretty good. Try some!

Are you sure it's alright? [It certainly is tempting. It looks and smells delicious. But he was probably offering to be polite, just as she would.]

Sure!I don't see why it wouldn't be okay. [ Ami's paying for it, anyway. ]

Then please let me try it. I'd like that very much. Please try mine as well.

Go ahead.

[ The pilaf is in a place where Ami can easily get to it. There's no hesitation in trying out whatever Ami's having.]
