[Well, Oz isn't looking too bad, all things considered, but he's mostly ignoring the squirrel-cat crawling all over him (including on his head) to ask a really important question.]

There's a lot of worlds out there, so I'm hoping someone can answer this. Has anything like this ever happened to any of you before, where you just woke up as someone else? If it has, how'd you handle it - and how did it get fixed?

[He'd been okay with waiting for this to blow over until his big bro suddenly showed up, and now it's something to get fixed ASAP.]

Oh, and, umm, Oz? I think that's your name - your little buddy here misses you. [He points at the squirrel-cat currently climbing over his shoulder.] Is there anything special you need me to do for him?

There's beaches everywhere. [And he'll ignore the unhappy memories of the place and focus on the newer, good ones.] And Sora and everyone live there, so you should be able to meet them, too.

Ven, where is our home? [ his voice is super serious ]

...I don't know. [Even with his other voice now, he sounds so sad.] I tried to look for it...

...It's somewhere, it can't be gone. Master Eraqus wouldn't have let it go down without a fight! [ HE STILL THINKS THAT HE'S ALIVE ]

No, that's- that's not it. [He'll deal with that later.] When Aqua was here, she told me that after the battle, she took me home. And to protect me, she... locked it. I don't know how, but it changed the world, and now it can't be found. She did it to keep me safe, while she tried to find you, and my heart.

Locked it?! [ sigh ]

We'll have to wait until we find her again to find it. Maybe she can reverse what she did.

I think she's the only one who can. But since I'm out now, when she does get back, we can find it together and unlock it. We can be home again, just like before.

[ just...the possibility! he's already happy thinking about it. for him, he hasn't been gone long, but it feel like it ] That would be great.

And we can get the Order going again. I'll be your first apprentice.

The...Order? [ SKEPTICAL ]

Why not? If it's you and me and Aqua, I know we can do anything. Being a Master is a dream we all share, after all. And Sora and Riku could use some real training.

That is true.

And what kind of real training are you talking about?

The kind we got. They're good - they're really good - but they had to teach themselves pretty much everything. And they don't know anything about the history or ceremonies or anything like we do. If we're gonna rebuild everything, we've gotta start somewhere, right?

[ nods ] That sounds great, I'd like to help teach them.

You're gonna be great at it Terra, you've already taught me so much.

Yeah! You taught me how to keep my guard up and to not be surprised by enemies, and tons of other stuff. I've gotta put up with you for some reason, right?

[yes, this is kind of creepy. Ven blinks a couple of times, trying to get over the strangeness of watching his mouth moving and his voice coming out of his face and yet not being the one speaking. It's like Roxas all over again, only worse.]

She? She's a she? And she has eggs?! [Guess who has no idea what to do with eggs and is now starting to panic a little. Whoops!] I'll... find them, then. Make sure they're okay. How's Daisy?

She might not let you find them yet, whenever I tried she would bite or nip at least. She's like a protective mother right now I guess you an say.

Daisy I'm guess if that yellow bird thing, right? Is so, then I fed her bird seeds, but weren't sure about if it was the right thing to do.

[Ven has never had pets before Daisy, he knows next to jack about wild animals. But he'll learn, though! Out of sheer necessity. And oh god that habitual gesture of his is strange to watch from the outside; Ven automatically raises his own hand to the back of his head before remembering that no one's actually touching him and dropping it.]

Okay, then I'll just... keep an eye out for her acting worried, or something. She's pretty nice, though. And yeah, that's Daisy - she's a chocobo. She likes leafy green stuff mostly, but seeds'll do all right. And for some reason she really likes pie, but Lili said it wasn't very good for her.

Hey, um... is there anything I need to know about your body?

Okay, I'll keep that in mind when she needs feeding again.

Yes, there is something, but you cannot tell anyone, okay?

It's not for me to tell, especially after we get out of this. What is it?
