001 ∆ action
[In the First District of Traverse Town, a large and shining blue crystal drifts down from out of the sky. It's semi-transparent, and inside it, there's a young man in green.
It's kind of hard to miss.
The crystal descends in front of the large wooden door leading out of Traverse Town, hovers above the ground for a moment, and fades. The young man falls to the ground, but slowly, and he lands on his feet. He looks around, eyes wide.
He doesn't know where he is, but he knows what just happened. Hyrule is gone. He couldn't save it, and now it's gone. The Sages sent him away, but away to... where? This place... It doesn't look like any town he's seen before. This can't be Hyrule, so it's... another land?
The first thing he needs to do is find people. He needs to find out where he is, and maybe if anyone knows Hyrule. If so, then... Then, he needs to spread the news. Hyrule has fallen to Ganondorf and his strange black monsters.
... and then he needs to buy a red potion, because ow. He's definitely not looking too good.He barely has five hearts left.
He turns his head to ask Navi what she thinks he should do, and goes still. She isn't there. Link takes off his hat and looks inside to see if she's just resting, but... His hat is empty, too.
Navi's gone, too? But... She was right there... She... She didn't get left behind, did she?]

Action
This place just gets weirder and weirder.
[ He then notices the person inside, and that the person appears to be hurt.]
Hey! You're not looking so good!
[ He rushes to Link's side. He seems like he needs a shoulder to lean on.]
Um...I could try to find some help, but I'm kinda new here too.
no subject
I'm okay. [He's not, but he'll be fine for now. There are more important things to take care of right now.]
... too?
[This person has round ears, but he doesn't look like a Gerudo. What...?]
no subject
Yeah, you're not on your world anymore or that's what I heard from someone else here. I don't really understand it myself. There are these rabbit like things that are supposed to give you stuff for surviving here and explain everything.
[ He's not sure if he could tell the guy about the darkness stuff. That's hard enough to deal with when you aren't injured. He looks around for a moogle.]
We need to find one of those rabbit things. They might know a place to patch you up. I hope they don't float away. Sorry, if I'm not making any sense.
[ He notices Link's injuries and disorientation before noticing the pointy ears.]
This place is weird, but some of the people seem nice.

He nods to the rest of what the man is saying, though he can't help himself from asking...] Floating... rabbits?
no subject
[ He's surprised that the guy understood any of what he said.]
I thought the rounds things were fruit when I first got here.

Link starts looking around, too, trying to see if he notices one nearby.]
no subject
Hey, this guy needs help!
[ It seems reluctant for some reason.]
I swear I won't touch the red thing. I'm sorry about that. I know better now, and I'm pretty sure this guy won't try anything. Isn't it your job to aid newcomers?
[ This somehow convinces the moogle.]
I kinda got off to a bad start with the moogles.

[video] going to assume a bit of a timeskip here so Link's gotten his device
What town are you in?

[so have a cheerful blonde approach you with a happy smile, m'kay?]
Oh, hello! [she knows she hasn't seen you before, but she's not sure if you're new here or not, too many people to keep track of, really]

Do...you need help with anything?
no subject
Have you seen a blue fairy?
no subject
No, I'm afraid I haven't. Does...it have a name or anything? In case I find it, I'll help get it back to you [never mind that she doesn't know your name, she's thinking ahead. obv.]
Is there anything else I can do for you, I mean you look a little [pause, chooses her words carefully, in case he really DOES look like that all the time, and how unfortunate would that be] weary.
no subject
Oh. [Right.] Is there somewhere I can rest?

O-Oh. He hadn't realized he was still staring at the horse. aldksjfdl] It's okay...

... but still likes to be scratched behind the ears, just like Epona.
Link reaches up and gently scratches, unaware that his expression has turned forlorn and distant.]
