OO2 - [ video ]

[ after trying to actually get back home on his glider, Terra just ends up someone else. this time, he's at Olympus Coliseum and looking preeeetty confused. he sits near the steps at the front gate and gets his communicator out ]

Does anyone have any idea where this place is? [ and he tries to do a pan of the area in front of him ]

I'm trying to get to the Land of Departure, or at least try to see if it's actually there or not. [ slightly bored look as he now rests his chin on his palm, looking around still ]

...I didn't even want to come here.

It's okay, I don't need a lot of stuff. Plus I kinda want my stuff back- you know... Home.

[But that's a depressing topic that neither of them really like. Ven changes the topic again.]

Yeah, she's pretty cute. Someone told me they end up really big, big enough to ride on, but she's still tiny right now. She should be getting bigger soon, though.

...Yeah. [ like they'll ever get back. ~~mwhaha!~~ :/ ]

How big are we talking? Like...a chicken kind of big?

[Ven's remaining hopeful, but he was always the more optimistic of the two. It helps that he's got Pluto in his back pocket for weird info, whenever she pops up. All they need is Aqua back. And Ven laughs at the question.]

Like bigger-than-you big. As big as a glider, probably. But for now, she's portable.

[Indeed, the chicobo chirps a couple of times, pushing herself out of Ven's hands to circle his head twice, then coming to rest on top of his head. Apparently this is the norm, because he doesn't even blink and tries to move his head as little as possible as she nestles into his spikes.]

Do you think you're gonna stay here, Terra? [He can't keep the hope from his voice at that.]

[ lol, that is true. maybe we'll get one soon! :D KNJNDJNG WHUT. have a surprised Terra face atm ]

That big?! What will you do with her then? Where is she going to stay?

[ he watches Daisy, smiling lightly and reaching out to touch her feathers with his hand gently as she sits on Ventus's head. then there's a pause as he looks down at Ventus ]

...Here?

[And that gets a flat-out grin from Ven.] I don't know - I'll figure it out when we get there. Apparently on some other worlds people use them for transportation, so I've got options.

...Umm, yeah? I mean, you just got back, Terra, and I... [-missed you. You're family.]

You could always build a little stable for her. Maybe you could find somewhere nearby to keep her, but it won't be for a while I'm sure.

... [ he blinks, looking at him. he waits for an answer for a few seconds and then looks away,, thinking. he thought this whole time that Ventus had already grown up and didn't need him around anymore. things were so confusing. especially knowing that he was in another time than his own. or that he at least knew.

it felt good to be wanted though. everything seemed so sad here. everyone was lost and separated from everyone that they knew. and he didn't want that to happen or for Ventus to feel that way anymore. he moved a hand to Ventus's shoulder and patted it, looking back at him ]

You want me to stay here with you?

[Ven will never not need Big Bro. He'd grown and matured - he had to - but there is nothing in him that does not need his family. Just because he's learned some things doesn't mean he's learned everything.]

...Yeah, if you want to. I came here to help, but it'd be even better if we both helped - right?

[PUPPY EEEEEYES. He doesn't even know he's making them! He just doesn't want to be separated again.]

[ and he smiles ]

Of course I will. I really didn't want to be by myself in Traverse Town anyway. Besides, you'll need help around here.

[His smile is so big, and so happy. He likes this world, but with Terra around, it would finally feel like home.]

Yeah... I always need your help.

[ he can't help but smile back at him ]

I'm happy to hear that. I'll have to get a few things from Traverse Town that I left there.

That's fine! I don't stay here all the time myself, we can still go other places - but it'll be nice to stay in the same place again.

[Y'know, after chasing you around the multiverse.]

And they do tournaments and stuff here so we can train in those, too.

You'll have to show me around some other places that you find interesting.

[ looks surprised ] Really? That would help a lot then.

Uh-huh - they don't have them all the time, but often enough. And they're pretty fun.

[Ven reaches up to dislodge the bird from his hair, despite her flurry of cheeps in protest to that - clearly she wants to stay there - and sets her in her little box-nest which she immediately hops out of again.]

Come on, we can get you a room to crash in. They've got a couple free.

Not all the time? Why not?

[ smiles, watching them and then nods to him ]

She just missed you, I'm sure. But we can go look now.

I don't think Phil's got enough people here to run them all the time, but they happen pretty often anyway. And with all the Heartless that show up here, there's never not something to practice on aside from each other.

[Ven once more places the bird in the box-nest, and this time she stays with an unhappy cheep.]

Yeah, she always misses me. But I don't want her to be hurt, so she's gotta stay here until she's bigger. Got it, Daisy? You can't go wandering off, something'll pop up and get you.

Yeah, that would be fine with me.

She'll be bigger one day, then she can actually help you out too.

Yeah... when she's bigger. Soon, Daisy, I promise.

[She's clearly reluctant to let him go, but Ven manages to get out the door without the chicobo chasing him. He's getting pretty good at that.]

So what do you want to see first? The town, the coliseum?

[ follows after him, smiling lightly since that was cute. but he's a MAN so he'd never admit it :P ]

Whichever is easiest to get to.

[MEN NEVER ADMIT IT but Ven occasionally will about the bird. While she's still small, at least. And Ven grins; he knows Terra a little too well.]

Let's go on over to the Coliseum - we can see if they've got any tournaments coming up.

How do you even enter the tournaments?

You just sign up for them, it's not really complicated. Then there's a bunch of matches and eliminations and you've just gotta last through the end. I haven't done one yet but I've been thinking about it. See? There it is.

[He lives close by, since the Coliseum's the heart of the world really - Ven points to the large gates open up at the end of the street, a large building visible through them.]

Can anyone participate? [ he pauses, thoughtfully ] Do they...usually let Heartless into the tournament too?

[ when Ven points to the gates, Terra just goes running toward them. mostly as a game to see if Ven will try to race him ]

As long as you can fight, you can compete, and I don't know about that one. I think- Hey!

[Cheater! But Ven's grinning after a second, quickly pushing himself into a run as well - he's smaller, but speedy. He'll be good and not cheat by gliding this time, though.]

[ he knows that Ven's a lot faster runner, that's why he's trying his best to run as fast as he can. he smirk at Ven back, noticing the grin. but once they get to the gates, he skits to a halt and looks up at them, staring ]

[Ven, on the other hand, reaches the gates and just starts to open them. Hey, why not?]
