Did you have a good New Year's dream? I thought about the custom of New Year's resolutions. I thought about making a few for myself, and working to accomplish them.

I still will, but I thought it might be more important to make some resolutions together. To talk about what we want to change and improve in the worlds here. Of course, being able to revive our worlds and return home is the priority, but we can't ignore where we are, either.

[The true answer: Yes. Some very painful things from their dreams have come true over the course of their years as senshi. But she doesn't want to discourage Sae, even while she doesn't want to lie. Ami finds herself putting down her fork after a taste of the pancakes.]

I think prophetic dreams can exist. We've seen remarkable powers like that here. But I don't believe the future is set in stone.

How could a dream predict the future if the future could change?

The future isn't set yet. However, it exists. [She's been there, but that part is left out. It's also why she knows it can change, as she went there to change it from disaster from the enemy's meddling.]

That sounds very confusing...

But, I kind of believe dreams can come true too. I sometimes get feelings about things that will happen, Takakura said it was because of my magic, so at least... I think dreams could work the same way too.

Your magic sounds kind of amazing. People in my world probably wouldn't even believe it; but I've seen it and I know it's true.

I... well, I don't know that it is amazing... but most people don't seem to be able to use magic.

[The pancakes, eventually they prove too tempting not to eat a few bites of them. ]

Thank you for letting me tell you about my dream. You really are a great friend. I feel a little better about it now too... that one part really was pretty scary, but if you say it will all work out then it must be true.

Even a scary dream, even if it's prophetic, is just a warning. It doesn't necessarily mean something bad will happen in the end, but it can tell us to be careful if the dream is reliable.

That's right, you shouldn't be scared. [This comes with a friendly smile.] I won't ever be afraid of dreams.

[She had a rather unfortunate lesson in this area, trapped in nightmares before they all finally broke out.]

That's really brave. I don't know that I will ever become as brave as that. I mean, I know dreams are nothing to be afraid of, but when they are so dark well...

I mean it. I am really glad you are my friend. Friends are very important to me so, um, if there is anything I can ever do to help you, anything at all, I would be happy to do it.

[Since Ami was so sweet helping her, Sae feels the need to offer her help as well. What are friends for? ]
