[Yuiko switches on the feed looking panicked, various pieces of paper balls go flying across the screen as she leans on the desk, pen tapping away on the desk in her room. It was a while before she starts writing again, pausing for a moment before looking frustrated and screwing it up, once more the ball getting sent flying.]

I don't understand this work?!

[He leans again the desk, her head placed on her hands as she continues to look at the work in front of her. She had been busy lately helping the Moogles out and had completely forgotten about the cast homework she had been given over the last month. A little frustrated she kept her head against the desk.]

I should ask Ritsuka, but I can't, I don't know where he is, or if he's even here any more.

[Thinking about a what is situation didn't help her mood as she slowly sat up, tears forming in her eyes. It was a couple of moments before she shook her head.]

That's a silly thought, Yuiko doesn't believe it at all.

[She wipes her eyes for a moment before smiling.]

Yuiko will get this work done without help?! I mean... I will get this work done?! Maybe if I do this all by myself Ritsuka will be happy.

[With that new determination she picked up her pen and with a serious look to her face started to write.]

[She...didn't even know this thing was recording.]

I-I'm trying to finish off the homework we had to do over the holidays, but I'm getting confused.

[He is relieved. ]

I was worried it might have been something worse than that. Which subject is it, if I may ask?

[Ruffling through the various paperwork, she's unsure of what she was last doing. Not good at all.]

I-I think that it was maths homework I was trying to do.

You don't sound very sure? Maybe you should take a moment to organize your papers before trying to work on any of that homework.

I'm sorry. I'm just that far behind on my work.

You don't have to apologize for it! It can be very difficult to stay ahead of paperwork.

Maybe the school offers a tutoring program you could sign up for? I'm sure they must have something like that if you need a little extra help.

I-I know that I can do the work, but it just takes time. Although art work is much easier.

I'm glad to hear that. I only made the suggestion because it sounded like you were having so much trouble with it.

I really am and have so little time to do it makes it worse.

When is everything due? Maybe you could just focus on the pieces of homework that have to be turned in first.

It's fine.. I'll just have to try and do the work. If it's wrong, then it's wrong.

Well, just do your best and try not to worry too much. You could always as your teachers for an extension if you need extra help. They are usually pretty understanding.

I know I have problems with maths, but I haven't checked to see what I got on other classes.

[A tiny, pleasant laugh.]

It's my favorite subject. We won't have any trouble at all.

[She looks rather happy, her cat like ears perking up slightly.]

[Her ears flatten slightly as she rummages around trying to find what papers she had for that class.]

I don't remember exactly what it was about, it was a while back, I just know there was a lot of homework on it and I forgot until today.

[Have a faintly bemused look.]

We'd better get started very soon, then. We won't have much time to work through the current work, and you should really start learning the methods to solve the problems for yourself, too.

[About an hour later, as promised, Ami contacts Yuiko as soon as she's off the gummi ship and nearby.]

If it's not inconvenient, it would make a good meeting-place; it's a landmark that would be difficult to miss.

[They say their goodbyes, and Ami heads to the docks just afterward. Before long, she disembarks and heads towards the school. She's somewhat early; but she's brought a book and doesn't mind waiting if she needs to.]

[Yuiko had to first put the papers back in the correct books and make sure that the pile was rather neat and tidy, or as neat and tidy she can get it before realising just how late she was. Rushing from her room to the front of the school, she was out of breath.]

No, you're not late. [This is a polite lie, but Ami maintains it.] I'm glad we could meet; I'm sorry if you felt rushed, though.
