What is the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee?

It began as a small group of us who wanted to restore Radiant Garden to its former glory after we won it back from the Darkness. Since more and more refugees have started arriving in Traverse Town, we've decided to spread this cause across all of the worlds here and, with any luck, to the worlds we're able to bring out of the Darkness in the future.

Simply put, we want to rebuild damaged areas and help out the people that have been affected by the Darkness.

What does the Restoration Committee do?

It's up to you how you decide to help. Some of us patrol and fend off Heartless, others provide support for people who have lost things because of the Darkness. As mentioned before, we will also try to rebuild what we can of places that have been destroyed or damaged. All we ask is that you come ready to help. Not only are people depending on us, but we have to be able to depend on each other as well.

So, then. Are you interested in joining up? Great. All you have to do is reply here with your name and how you plan to help out. That's it.

I have experience with various fields of magic, consisting of nature- and light-based spells, and I can also heal the wounded.

Doesn't matter. You can help out wherever you're at and we're not enforcing that you do anything. This is... a volunteer sort of thing. If we're needed somewhere, I'll let you guys know. Alternatively, if you see someone who needs help, go ahead-- or get in touch with the rest of us, if you like.

Um... I still intend to help out. I was just assigned to the ... IDPD for Radiant Garden. That won't ... get in the way will it?

That's fine. If I remember right, the leader of that thing - Sephiroth - joined the Restoration Committee a while back so we could kind of collaborate. It shouldn't interfere.

Do you think it's worth it?

I know what it's like to lose your home. If I can restore any of what's been destroyed or find ways to help people who have lost theirs, even a little bit, it's more than worth it.

Yeah...I think so too. You already know I'm in. Anything that helps restore their homes is worth it to me.

If we don't have to stay in Radiant Garden, then I'll definitely sign up. I want to visit one day, but I want to stay here to help people out.

No staying in Radiant Garden required. In fact, it's better that people want to help out with the effort on other worlds. I'll add you to the list.

I had an idea about that. If we can't move the hammer, we'll just have to move the floor, right?

You wouldn't be the first one to have that idea. We tried digging up the ground underneath it and it just... wouldn't budge. [He shakes his head and sighs.] There's some powerful magic at work here. Someone really didn't want people picking up this hammer.

Well then! Powerful magic needs to be countered by powerful magic. Do you mind if I give it a try?

I'll help out, definitely. Mickey's put me in the Coliseum, fighting and healing, if that's okay.

I'm Ventus, but everyone just calls me Ven. Umm, one sec-

[And since Leon's basically The Man With The Knowledge outside of the actual Keyblade users, Ven's going to explain a little more to him.]

I'm like Sora - we both have Keyblades. I was training under Master Eraqus for a few years until I lost my heart. I just woke up in Sora's house a few months ago.

[Well, that's sure as heck news to him.]

No wonder you seemed so familiar. That's... a lot to take in. How'd you get it back? [He's pretty curious. To lose your heart and get it back is no small feat, after all.]

It was... in Sora. Like Kairi's was, but for a lot longer. We had to work together to get it out and he had to bring me back through memories of my friends, but obviously it worked.

[That gets a grin. And if Leon thinks about it, that explains a lot about Ven - mostly his no-darkness thing.]
