If someone doesn't know their birthday, should they just... pick one, or not worry about it?

Hey guys, I need to talk to you. I found out Terra went to talk to Hades about controlling the Darkness inside him, and we can't let him go back. He didn't make a deal with him as far as I know, but I need some other way for him to learn about the Darkness and how to handle it before Hades does trick him into a deal. Terra should be a Master, but Master Xehanort messed with him and made all this happen and-

We can't let it happen again, okay? Can anyone help me here?

I don't know, I mean - I don't know a lot about myself, and it doesn't really bother me all that much. But I keep seeing families or people talking about their parents and then all this holiday stuff lately and I kind of wonder what else I'm missing.
