[Mai's walking around the beach looking very much out of place. She's lifting her dress slightly while staring at her shoes. The sight of sand specks on them don't seem to fit well with her and she kicks at her right leg slightly heaving a sigh.]

I hate sand. It's so annoying. Why couldn't we live somewhere with a little more foundation. I can't believe I'm saying this but...[It's apparent it hurts her a little too much to admit.] Twilight Town doesn't seem so bad.

[She's moving away from the sand, trying to find more level ground when a moogle close-by offers her what appears to be one of the famous sea-salt ice-creams. She took it, stared at it for a few minutes in curiosity, and slowly puts it in her mouth.

Not even a second in and she's gagging. Completely gagging.]

What- salt? Sea salt? Why would anyone make ice-cream like this! I can't the taste out of my mouth!

[And the gagging continues, she doesn't even bother keeping the Popsicle. It's left abandoned to melt in the sand while she makes her way back home.]

I can't believe you actually tried that stuff. From what I've heard, it sounds awful.

I don't think I'll be able to get this taste out of my mouth.

Drink something or have something to eat when you get back, you'll be fine.

I don't know why so many people buy that ice cream. Too many people actually eat it.

It takes some getting used to, but I like it. Sea-salt ice cream is a favorite over there and here at Radiant Garden, too.

If this is everyone's favorite I can't imagine what's considered terrible in these standards.

Sea-salt ice cream is a very odd flavour, but after a while you get use to it. In fact I rather enjoy it myself.

What is it about it you don't like anyway?

You're asking me what's wrong with ice-cream tasting like the ocean? Do you like drinking ocean water? Just because it's cold it won't change the fact it still tastes like it.

You can keep them. I'll pass next time.

I've never actually drank sea water before, but if this counts it would be a first.
