[Technology is not one of Rei's fortes and it shows when the feed activates, flipped upside down. Nevertheless, she looks alarmed and not happy in the slightest. For the moment, she's tucked away in a temporary safe place. Her first instinct is to call for the girls.]

Hello? This is Rei Hino-- I just arrived here. This strange creature just gave me this device and--

[Loud crashing ensues in the background and the feed shakes for a moment, then steadies, reminding her to be quick about her transmission. No luxury to ask if anyone has seen her friends. She looks back into the feed, wearing an expression that is both determined and fearless. She may be without her ability to transform into Sailor Mars at the moment, but she sure as heck isn't helpless.]

I'm not sure how long I can hold out here. If anyone is nearby, I'm willing to help you fight off these evil creatures. Get in touch with me immediately.

[Rei frowns; she doesn't really know where she's at either.]

I don't know. No one had any time to tell me much about this place when I got here, but I'm hiding in an alley near a hotel.

[Traverse Town? ...Fitting name. She just nods once.]

I appreciate it. [She almost hangs up, then quickly asks;] Is there a place nearby where I can find a weapon?

I...uh. I don't actually know.

[What with his ice powers, he never really thought he'd need a weapon.]

Hm. I'll find one. Just meet me in front of the hotel.

[She turns off the communicator. For now, she'll make due with some basic self defense and start carefully heading out to the front of the hotel, kicking through a couple heartless along the way.]

[It was a few minutes before Allen found the hotel, Timcanpy safety tucked away in a pocket he had. He placed his hand upon the floor, causing a formation of ice to start making there way towards a group of heartless.]

I'm here sooner than I expected.

[The ice attack surprises her and out of habit, Rei almost expects to see Mercury. Alas, it's the young man she spoke to earlier. She did seem to find a weapon, too. She holds a bow in her hand with a quiver strapped soundly to her back.]

It's better than being late. [She nocks the bow and fires an arrow into a nearby heartless with considerable skill.] Do you have a plan?

Well, plan wise I didn't think about it. I didn't have time.

[He turned around, aiming some ice spikes at another group of heartless.]

I just want to protect the people who can't protect themselves.

[A good enough reason, Rei thinks. She fires off a couple more arrows into some heartless.]

We'll protect them together, then. I was told that people were gathering here at the hotel. If we find anyone else, we should bring them here.

[He nods slightly, sending a few more Heartless away by more ice spikes, or being able to pin them down if he had to.]
