【 008 】 Kaiba Seto - VIDEO - Traverse Town

[Seto was doing better from his previous wounds battling Maleficent. THat hadn't gone well and he was doing much better now, but the guy was sore. Putting on a shirt had been hell and he didn't bother buttoning it up. The Evee on the kitchen counter who turned on his communicator made it easy to see that raw skin and bruises under his unbuttoned shirt. He was trying to make coffee but he found himself with a bit of a predicament. He couldn't stretch his arms too high, his sides would hurt. He gave a groan after his final attempt, the Evee went and rubbed herself against the guy.]

Get away from me, what are you doing. If you want to be useful, you should get me that filter up there.

[As if it could listen, it did as it was told, hopping up into the cabinets and pushing the filter out right into Seto's open palm. He was surprised.]

Since you're up there, how about getting the coffee as well. It's that- wait!

[The thing had done as he said and pushed a glass container off the edge. He had to move fast to catch it causing him some good amount of pain as he doubled over the counter breathing heavily. The Evee hopped down and cuddled away at his hair and head.]

Don't patronize me.

[Noel had been standing in the doorway for a few moments, just long enough to see alot of what had happened and yeah...

That was pretty adorable.]

Koto, are you helping Seto?

[The Eevee looks up when he hears his name and prances over to his mistress. He leaps upwards, landing on her shoulder and nuzzles her face. She smiles and scratches behind his ear for a moment before she turns to the man in front of her.]

How are you feeling?

[He turned his head to catch Noel and slowly lifted himself up to get back to his coffee.]

Better. Sleep well?

[She smiles and nods. She slept rather soundly, but when she woke up this morning she couldn't but see so....lonely? Atleast what's what it felt like to her. She felt like she needed to be within Seto's sight at all times now. She just needed to see him, making sure he was alright. She felt so clinging. She wanted to hung hug and hang all over him but she was afraid to hurt him at the same time.

She set Koto down, and walked over to the counter top. She placed herself beside him, leaning on the counter, a hand resting gently on his back.]

Does it still hurt? Maybe you should lie down.

I'm fine.

[He didn't mind her there but he did mind the fact she was treating him like he could fal apart any second now. He busied himself with his coffee, not turning to look at her.]

Is that why you're staying here? You think I'll fall apart? They were jsut a few scratches.

[Wait, what if he doesn't want her there? She could be annoying him without even knowing it.]

[It had been a long time since the two had spoken, and Kaname doubted the other recalled it not that it truly mattered. Still, it was unsettling thinking that he could have been without Yuuki the whole time just like Kaiba had yet to be reunited with his brother.

If you still have injuries that severe, you shouldn't be pushing yourself.
