( there's the sound of muffling... while it appears as though the screen is being handled every which way. there's mainly just streaks of colour and a muffled voice. then suddenly, the noises come in crystal clear, apparently something was covering the microphone... ) -- though I'm not sure how it's possible to communicate just by... oh!

( and finally you can see her face -- a brunette with medium length hair, and two different coloured eyes. she seems calm, but... there's almost a sense of urgency about the way she's carrying herself )

H-hello? Is it working? Can anyone hear me? My name is Yuna -- it seems as though I've landed in a place called Traverse Town? I believe that's what the moogle said, even though -- I'm not entirely sure how, exactly... Everything... just got so dark, suddenly... Um. It seems as though I somehow managed to get separated from my guardians... Wakka? Lulu? Can you hear me? Kimahri...?

( and there's a small pause as she seems to be considering something -- ) I suppose... it's worth a try.

( and a loud whistle resounds! )

( at that last thought, she seems to have deflated a little, also... ) Maybe... Do you think -- it's possible we got too close to Sin?

I don't think Sin has anything to do with this since we destroyed it. [Tidus briefly goes quiet, then shrugs. He would have said it at some point, he just thought not right after Yuna arrived.]

( she stops ) D... destroyed?

Uh... [He rubs the back of his head, smiling nervously.] Don't worry about that right now!

( she remains frozen. wondering if maybe he got too close to the toxin. heck. maybe she got too close to the toxin. but she was fairly certain she was still alive, so sin couldn't really be... ) I-if you say so...

Um. ( and she looks down, fidgeting a little ) Maybe we should... try to find out what the best way back to Spira is...

[If only he didn't blurt things out...all the time. He shrugs to himself, then nods at her with a renewed determination.]

There has to be a way back! We'll find it. I'm not sure about directions, but we can use a Gummi Ship.

A gummmi ship? ( headtilt )

Yeah it's like an airship, except not! It looks like something someone might doodle when they're daydreaming.

An airship...! ( she wanders off in thought for a moment, wondering what that would be like... ) It sounds -- sort of exciting. You've... been on one?

[Tidus nodded, smiling at her reaction.] A couple of times. I can even pilot one now! [Not that it was much of a feat, but.]

( oh she's impressed, regardless... ) R-really?! Do you think... you could show me sometime? I-I mean, if it's not too much trouble, Of course...

I could show you right now if you want. [He tries to keep the excitement out of his voice...at least not as strong, but he fails so much.]

We could? ( too late, the excitement is catching ) Right this instant?

Yeah, sure, right now! Let's go right now, Yuna.

( she pauses. looking at first like she's going to object -- but darn it! she really wants to go! even if it is a little irresponsible... her uncertainty turns back into a smile and she nods ) All right! Let's go!

[Tidus nods and smiles cheerfully, taking a few steps back to watch her before he starts to run hoping in sharing his excitement she will as well.]

( she begins to trot after him... then breaks out into a run, giggling ) This is so exciting! I can't wait to see what it's like!

[Tidus laughs, flashing her a grin as he runs by her side.] It's kind of funny to look at, but it's really fun!

( she still trudgin' along, arms swaying with each stride ) Where should we go, do you think?

[He pauses. A lot of ideas come to mind, yet...] That depends. What kind of place do you want to go to?

( and so, she'll pause too, looking off into the distance. if she could have chosen anywhere... she would have said zanarkand. but that's probably rather impossible, so... ) Somewhere... nice. ( closes her eyes ) And warm. ( aka, someplace that reminds her of home, perhaps? )
