2nd Night O Chasing dreams can be bitter but an "eternity" of just being alive I don't want.

[Open - Captured on Hotaru’s communicator]

[The background suggests it’s clearly in Traverse Town. The young lady looked like she was about to say something when her attention was stolen. The communicator manages to catch imagery of a shadowy looking creature. The closer it gets the more obvious it becomes that it’s in the form of a bat. Most curiously it is carrying a parcel, with a letter attached. The bat places the item before her before disappearing. Some people might recognize the creature as being one of Kanames.. But seeing how he’s never openly displayed this power here, it will only be a scant few.]

[OOC: If you reply please label whether you’re addressing Kaname, Hotaru or if it’s open XD. Who knew that bats could deliver mail 8/.]

[Private to Hotaru]

[It’s a bit old-fashioned but rather than using the communicator, a letter with a package arrives for Hotaru. The package is fairly small, and the outside doesn’t give any indication what might be contained inside. The note attached to it is written in a fine calligraphy and reads as follows]

You are cordially invited to attend a small dinner party to be held on the Beast’s Castle world.

[It doesn’t say much, however should she open the package she’ll see a purple flower with a golden center. It’s a tasteful, yet beautiful corsage. Lifting it up will reveal more of the message written on the bottom of the box in the same script]

Should you decide to attend, look for the building adorned with these flowers.

[The author of the note, did not include his name… and part of the message seems to imply that the author fully expected her to reject the invitation. It had been an impetuous decision to send it at all, and the mysterious nature of it… why would anyone accept?]

[An invitation? And a corsage?!
She was so surprised by the strange delivery that she hadn't even thought to turn the video feed off. She just stood there reading and rereading the invitation. ]

It had to come from one of the other girls... Maybe they decided to have a party?

[Since she thought the other senshi might have planned this Hotaru had no reason not to hop onto the nearest gummi ship and get one of the moogles to take her out to this 'Beast's Castle' place. ]

[After talking to Yuuki over the communicator, Kaname couldn't help but feel torn and confused. He still felt strongly about Yuuki but then there was this other feeling for this girl he'd never even met. He waited somewhat nervously, he'd posted some creatures near the gummi docks that could alert him of her arrival. This feeling of being torn between two people.... Perhaos it could help him to understand why Yuuki couldn't just forget about Zero..

The location he'd selected was elegantly decorated, and everythig was pristine. His attention to detail was remarkable. The "small dinner party" Would of course consist of only two people. A little misleading, yes, but the letter had to have been or there would have been no hope of her accepting it.]

[She didn't really have a dress to wear but the girls would know that. Hotaru hadn't really had the time to do very much shopping since she had arrived.
But she did take the corsage out of the box it had come in and put it on. At least this would make her black outfit a touch more colorful?
The moogle piloting the gummi ship announced, that they had landed and that she could leave now, kupo~

So having been given that clue she stepped lightly out of the gummi ship and shyly looked around at her new surroundings. It was a very large house... should she walk up to the door? Hesitantly she made her way up the stairs and was preparing to knock.]

[To be honest, Kaname had debated sending her a dress.. but as a first gift it didn't seem appropriate. Intrusive, perhaps considering he would have had to have figured out her measurements somehow. Her black outfit looked sophisticated enough as it was, despite it being more casual.

When Hotaru raised her hand to knock, the door would just swing open. Creepy enough? The lighting was fairly dim, and the windows covered by heavy curtains]

[Very creepy! She debated whether or not she should go in... but the other senshi would be there so in had to be safe? Still her voice cracked a little as she walked into the hall, calling out for the others as she went. ]

He-hello? Is anybody in here?

[As soon as she reached the hall, you could hear the sound of the door shutting. The wind from the motion blew out the candles, shrouding the poor girl in darkness. ]

[Hotaru startled as soon as the door slammed shut behind her. Maybe this was a bad idea! She turned and hurried back to the door. She grabbed the handle and tried to pry the massive thing open to escape.]

[The door wouldn't budge, strangely enough. There was the flicking sound to the right, and then a small spark. The spark seems to float through the air as three candles were lit one by one, and you finally get the first glimpse of your host, holding the candelabra.]

Leaving, so soon?

[The look on her face gave away just how frightened she was...]

I apologize for the lights... this planet seems to be from a time before electricity was in use.

[He walked over to close the distance between them, surprised that she had decided to come here. Kaname quietly, and discretely examined her, those strange feelings only seemed to amplify in her presence.]

It was good of you to come, Lady Tomoe. Please allow me to escort you to the party.

[She really had a thousand questions. 'How do you know my name?' 'Why won't the door open?' 'Where re the other senshi?' But, that was the first one she managed to say. ]
