[Makoto felt so confused and conflicted right now. Everyone was saying that all those feelings they'd felt were because of some stray cupid with a sack of arrows... but she was pretty sure she hadn't been struck. She hadn't heard from Chloe since then. Maybe they were right... maybe he hadn't really cared for her at all.. but that wasn't why she was here. She was tired of upsetting Ami, by not visiting or readily agreeing to travel.

A gummi ship... wasn't really like an airplane, was it? The thought of flying whether through the air or in this case, space, gave her some pause. She hadn't mentioned it to the others because there were some things one needed to do on their own, and she didn't want to worry them.

She strode quietly to the Gummi docks to inspect the things. ]

I have to do this... not just for myself but everyone is counting on me.

[She balled a fist and kept going]

If the girls were in trouble... I wouldn't be able to reach them without these things. You can do this Makoto. [She gave herself a little pep talk as she walked right up to one of the ships]

I won't let them down.

Won't let who down, Kupo? [A friendly moogle asked as it poked its head outside of the ship]

Ahh! [Makoto exclaimed nearly falling backwards. She took a deep breath before answering] My friends.

I'll help you, if I can~!

[She nodded briefly, and began to circle the ship, making sure everything looked like it was in good condition before even thinking of boarding it]

[Aidou yawned slightly, he was really starting to get tired after two long days without sleep. Who would have thought that would happen from not getting any shut eye. For today he knew he had to go to another world, so it was going to the Gummi station in order to board one and get a few things while he was out.

Looking over he spotted a young woman, walking around in circles and with his usual curiosity he wondered over.]

Why do you keep circling the ship?

[Makoto jumped when the boy startled her, and sheepishly placed a hand behind her head when she responded]

Uh.. you see.. well.. I just wanted to make sure everything was in good condition before I boarded it.

[She might as well go with the truth, he didn't need to know how frightened she was of flying. Once she answered, she was able to get a better look at him. Wow! This guy was gorgeous! What was with all the cute guys in Traverse Town?!

.... Ah.. but since she was still uncertain about her situation with Chloe........ Aidou was relatively safe from any fangirling.]

[That is a good thing, Aidou would that used that to his advantage.]

Well... [He walked up to the ship himself to inspect it.] People have said that they've never had problems with it, but given what exactly they are made out of and how they are run, it's scientifically impossible for them to be able to fly and yet... [He walks around to the other side.] They can fly.

You shouldn't be too worried about it's condition, unless of course your not a very happy person?

[She'd probably have fallen for that too, sob. Guys are such a weakness]

[You're not helping her Aidou! Scientifically impossible for them to fly... Makoto might have started looking a little green around the gills] What.... what do they run on? [It's not just regular fuel?]

It has to do with happiness? [She looked thoughtfully at the gummi ship] Usually, yeah.. I'm very happy.. but lately..... [She almost spilled the beans about both her relationship woes, and the fear of flying]

Apparently they run on smiles and happy thoughts. So if your not that type of person, it would be rather hard to get it off the ground, let alone get it to fly. Then again this is public transportation, so you'd have others with you.

[He is trying to be nice about it, yet has to get the facts across.]

What if in the middle of the flight, all the passengers suddenly felt upset at the same time? would we all be stranded?

Or... worse?

Answer me this, how exactly would everyone aboard a Gummi ship suddenly get upset?

[She was quiet for a few seconds as she puzzled over it]

What if the ship was attacked mid-flight? That would upset everyone right?

And who would be able to attack that midair?

None of the heartless can fly?

[Some of the enemies from her world could hover..]

Not that anyone knows about. or at least not ones that can fly in space.

So.. for the most part, Gummi ships are completely safe. Right?

[She looked down a him anxiously]

Pretty much. While it is such an odd thing it runs it, it appears to be 100% safe.
