009 ☆ video (action in Deep Jungle)

[After the mess with Cupid and twice as many things nagging at Obi-Wan's mind than there had been before the mess, he had just decided to avoid his housemates altogether for a while until he could gather his thoughts. He went so far to avoid them, in fact, that he ended up in Deep Jungle. He told himself it was both to train and familiarize himself with the place, but those were only secondary motives to... well, wandering around aimlessly and thinking.

So lost in thought was he that he did not react nearly quickly enough to heed the Force's warnings before a trap swept him up by the ankles and dangled him from a very tall tree. The motion dislodged both his lightsaber and his communicator from his belt, both clattering to the grass below. Unfortunately for him, the feed turns on and makes a display of his unfortunate predicament, catching the end of a clipped yelp.

He looks... very, very annoyed.]

Oh, now you've done it. Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're much smarter than this!

[Why, yes-- he's even scolding himself. He goes on to grumble something about having been too distracted before trying to spot his lightsaber in the grass. ...He soon begins criticizing the grass for being too thick and this trap for being too high when he fails to do so quickly. It might take him a moment to get out of this tree-- unless, of course, someone wants to help him.]

Oh no! [ Little girl looks worried, 'cause you know, the whole thing about him being a Jedi totally escapes her. ] Do you need help?

[At first when Obi-Wan hears a voice, he instinctively looks around as if expecting to see a person standing there. Except... well, it sounds like the voice is directly below him-- oh no. Stars and galaxies, please tell him the communicator didn't catch all that.]

I think... I'll be alright if I can just find my blasted lightsaber. [He pauses, considering.] Unless you happen to be nearby.

[ This would be Sakura shaking her head, even if Obi-wan can't see. She has yet to leave Traverse town. ]

No, I'm still in Traverse Town. But I could find someone for you?

Ah, that's alright. I won't trouble you. Where there's a will, there's a way. [Or so they say. But he definitely has the will.]

[Oz had just taken care of a small group of Heartless a small distance away and was continuing along his journey of his job and keeping track, making asure that everything was okay and that the number of heartless were high. With his sword still in his hand, he looked around, soon hearing the sound of a voice, which to him wasn't often he came across it. So making his way he soon looked around, spotting someone he reconised.]

Do you need help?

[Again? How many people were going to see this? But then he realizes that the voice is in fact coming from here and not the communicator. He looks over and immediately recognizes the boy. Well-- at least he isn't in a coffin. He flashes a sheepish grin.]

That would be splendid, yes. My lightsaber should be in the grass somewhere... If you can find it for me, I can cut myself free.

[Oz nodded for a moment, his sword fitting in it's sleath so that he could look around for this lightsaber the guy was asking for.]

Can you tell me a little bit about what I'm actually looking for?

[He kneels down close to where the guy was hung upside down, checking around the closest area first, just incase.]

It's a silver cylinder. About this wide and this long... [He gestures with his hands to give him said approximations.] And you should most certainly not push the red button on the side if you find it, please.

It's nice to see amusement in Anakin's face for what little he can see of his communicator, though, so he's struggling to keep a smile off his own.] ...And no, I was not paying attention. I admit it. It was also a very well disguised trap.

[That's... kind of special? Ven's kind of tilting his head sideways to try and see things from the correct perspective and hear those grumbles. This is... not what he expected to see, honestly.]
