Deal 002 ❖ [Video]

[And onto the video screen comes a grinning face, looking just a bit excited. But then, he has something in his conniving little head. He can't quite seem to help it.

Or maybe he can. Half of his actions are a carefully kept facade. But either way, here's the grin and the video feed fidgets just a bit as he sets it down on a table.]

Good afternoon to everyone! I... am looking for something.

I think I'm getting the general lay of this place. Yesyes, it's starting to make sense. Fascinating as it is. Strange as it is. But I've yet to find a certain something I would rather like to acquire.

So tell my, dearies, can anyone tell me where I might find a spinning wheel?

Have you found one yet?

Not as such, no. I have been given several places to look, however.

[A vaguely amused smile.] And I've found that spinning and spinning wheels are something of a complete mystery to many here.

[ Sebastian didn't think that Rumpelstiltskin would have had much luck, especially when forced to rely on drivel spat absentmindedly from the mouths of the kingdom's residents. ] Knowledge isn't something that's commonplace around here, it seems, ...and as for your wheel, perhaps I can be of some use.

[That earns a bit of a laugh, trilling and ending as abruptly as it began.] Well, that does seem to be the predominant trend, yes. Though there are exceptions.

One in particular is... someone from home. Someone quite dear to me. [There are implications here. He knows your type, Sebastian, because he's pretty much the same type.] Her name is Belle, have you met her?

[ He cannot help but chuckle at that. ] It certainly does. Pity, that. [ Except not. ]

[ Wafts a brow. Oh. He's caught the subtle hint there, Rumpel, and there's no need to fret. Sebastian knows better than to touch what belongs to another, ...granted they show him the same decency. ] I understand completely. I share the same sentiment with my Master, Ciel Phantomhive.

[ Sets a finger to his lips. ] Belle. Mm, I met her. Upon arrival she'd been quite upset, so I invited her in to rest as she asked me a few questions about this place. [ He crooks his head to the side. ] ah, That reminds me. Do you have a place to stay, ..?

Yes. Pity. [He echoes, amusedly.

But he does not a bit at that. Excellent. He rather figured he would be understood. A pause though.] Ciel is it? Well now, that's a name I have heard before. I hadn't realized he had a connection to you. [This does change some things. Hmm.]

How nice to know you've made her acquaintance. She's a good girl. And I haven't found a suitable place yet, no. If you had any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

[ Nods. Brings his hand to his mouth, serrated fangs sinking into the fabric of the glove and tearing it off. Lets it drop as the mark on his hand gleams. ] Yes. He's my Master and just as dear to me as Belle is to you.

She is. [ He picks up the glove, stuffing it into his pocket as he draws out another, cleaner one. ] I do have a spare room upstairs, if you're interested. Your Belle is more than welcome to stay too.

[Rumpelstiltskin nods at that.] Well, then it may interest you to know that someone has been trying to make a deal on his behalf.

[He is rather curious about that mark on Sebastian's hand there. Fascinating.]

Really? That is quite a generous offer! I will bring it up to Belle, though she may require a bit more space than a room between her and me.

Is that so. [ He tilts his head. ] Do tell. [ None too pleased with this development, but he's glad to have found out... before it'd been too late. ]

Mm, [ Smiles. ] anything for a friend. ah, In regards to that. I had offered her a roof over her head, but she declined as she possesses a strange key. Belle thinks that the key might be to a room, and so she'd planned on checking the Inn up the road.

It is so, yes. [Oh he can imagine how pleased Sebastian is. He'd be furious himself, were it Belle.] A young blonde seems quite concerned about his happiness.

Ah yes, the inn. That is where we've been staying, for the time being. Separately, of course.

[ On the outside he's calm, or trying to be. He may have developed a nervous tick, though, because he's absolutely livid on the inside. ] His fiancé. [ He scowls without realizing it, murmuring something under his breath. ] I should have known that she would be behind this. [ Lip curls into a smirk. ] She thinks she's the right to him, but this mark says otherwise.

[ He takes a breath and forces himself to settle a bit. ] But of course. Well, talk it over and let me know what you would like to do. My offer will always be on the table. [ Tips his head forward. ] ...and should you want to remain in separate rooms I can forfeit my room to one of you. I do not need it anyway. [ ~~Because, like a boss, I don't sleep.~~ ]

[Rumpelstiltskin watches his communicator for a long moment.] What does that mark say exactly, deary? Even from here I can tell it's something.

[He waves a hand.] Needless to say, I will respect the fact that the boy is yours.

[But the giving up his room thing? That is surprising. Well then.] More and more generous, deary! [It's appealing really. Sebastian is interesting and could prove a good ally, which is good to keep close.]

[ His gaze falls for a moment as he removes his glove a second time. Places it aside as his hand rises so it's able to be seen clear as day on the communicator's screen. ] This. This here, [ Sebastian shuts his eyes as he draws his hand toward his lips. Purrs. ] Is my mark. [ Lids rise, a pair of gleaming lilac iris' peering out from beneath. ] We share it. I am his, just as he is mine.

[Rumpelstiltskin lifts an eyebrow. Well well, that is something. That is rather interesting.] I've seen nothing like it before. Fascinating, really. That sounds like quite the bond.

[ Sebastian flicks his tongue over the mark, hand returning to his side as he bares his fangs in a toothy sort of smirk at Rumpel. ] Beyond that of mere flesh and blood, ...

So I see! [He lifts his own hand to tap a finger against his chin thoughtfully.] So then I'll leave it to you, my friend. How would you like me to deal with the little blonde girl and her request?

I would appreciate that. [ More than anything. ] Hm. Now that, there, ...the million dollar question. [ He takes a moment to think. ] I don't think she understands that meddling in other people's affairs is wrong. Perhaps we can warp her wish into something most vile.

[Rumpelstiltskin is quiet, thinking a bit himself. But he smiles slowly at that.] Well, I am a man of my word you know. I keep my bargains. [All but one.] But people never are careful enough with what they ask for.

[Wish warping it is, Sebastian. Rumpelstiltskin has an idea or two.]

But of course. [ His smile's drawn slowly, too. ] No.
Never. No one thinks of the consequences, ...only their own
desires. I have the utmost faith in you, [ He chuckles low in
his throat, his smile stretching the width of his face. ]

How true. It's unfortunate. [It's not unfortunate at all. Rumpelstiltskin finds it works quite well to his advantage.

And despite the fact that they are speaking on the communicators, he dips a little bow and offers a slow grin.] I'll strive not to disappoint, friend.

[ Unfortunate? Ha! Not in the least. Sebastian works it to his advantage as well. He finds those deals quite fun, actually, because the look of shock and of disbelief on the person's face when they realize they weren't all that careful -- priceless! ]

[ Bows his head politely as well. Manners, ♥! ] I will keep in touch. I would enjoy seeing your sinister plan unfold.

[Rumpelstiltskin flashes another grin his way.] I will certainly keep you apprised, deary!
