[The little Youkai's had already explained but he couldn't... surely they were lieing? Yet, here he was, they'd sent him to this place, it was apparently a school of some sort. He'd arrived in a strange town and the little Youkai, moogle's they called themselves, had tried to enplane... He hadn't wanted to believe....but he'd been expecting something to go wrong. He'd known this almost..peaceful time of the last year or so had been too good to last... But this?

 

He sat watching the water lap at the sand of the beach. his legs were curled to his chest. He wasn't crying...he'd already done that. He was staring woefully at the device he'd been given. It was clear he didn't really realize it was on by the bemused look in his gold eyes. He bit his lip and looked around slowly, clearly unsure. Then he spoke to thin air, in a voice soft and so lost.]

 

What now?

 

[ To a boy who'd never had much of anything, who had finely, finely started to gain it, only to have it all snatched away again... Frankly it was a miracle he hadn't just went insane but as it was he in shock at the moment and had no idea how to move from here. Maybe...maybe he could just sit here a while. It was pretty here.]

[Oz had left his dormroom, in order to give his pokemon a walk and a good amount of exercise while they were at it. Walking around the beach, he watched as one of the little guys had hurried off ahead, making it's way over to the new arrival. When it reached him it lightly jumped up, it's little paws pressed lightly against their leg as Oz made his way over.]

He-Hey! Alice, don't just go running off ahead like that.

[The little Eevee turned it's head before looking at the new guy again before Oz knelt down.]

Sorry if she is bothering you. [Blinking a couple of times he had to ask.] Are you okay?

[ He was startled by the dog like creature and he blinked slowly at it before he looked up startled a little as the blond spoke. He smiled politely, stuck in default.]

It's cute. what is it?

[ He dodged the question carefully putting his hand out the the dog-thing. He wondered if it was like the things that had greeted him or if it was just a 'normal' pet.]

It's called an Eevee, or at least that what it says often.

[The Eevee in question was just happily asking for attention, and moved in to rub up lightly, rather enjoying the attention.]

[ He pet the Eevee gently most of his focus on it. ]

[The eevee just enjoys getting all the attention. While the other two and there mother are off somewhere else running around and playing.]

You must be new here? After all you asked what Eevee here was and I've never seen you around the school before either.

[He nodded slowly and looked up.]

[ He blinked startled at the device and tilt his head his face quickly setting with a bemused smile.]

I'm sorry, I hadn't realized someone had heard me.

I'm not the only one who did. What's your problem.

[ He knew that tone and he just smiled politely bowing his head a little. It seemed he'd drawn too much attention to himself again, the wrong sort, as usual. ]

That doesn't answer my question.

[ He bit his lip. This person reminded him so much of Sensei.... frankly it was that that broke the mask that the concern others had shown hadn't.]

I'm not sure how to answer.

[ He looked frustrated, tired. His answer frank and honest. Because this person so much like his protector and friend.... he shook his head a little and curled his leg up so his chin could rest on it as he stared at the brunette image in the device trying to figure out what he should say to the acidic male.]

Most idiots that arrive here aren't as useless as this. If you don't know how to answer it means you don't know what you want. You're a new strange place, in a new world- most people want attention, a place to stay, something to do.

[ He jumped and looked at the device.]

[ He watched her closely, appearing only to be politely curious. His mask was a good one because truefully he was as lost and unsure now with speaking to her as he had appeared before she'd said anything. ]

[she had hesitated to say anything, perhaps it wasn't really her place. But the young man seemed so entirely sad, she couldn't NOT say something.]

[ Had so many really heard him? He flushed and answered. ]

[it wasnt hard, at least to Lenalee, to tell that the words that were coming out of the young man's mouth didn't match how he felt. Hr lips turned into a small frown as she shook her head]

You're new here aren't you? You know. When you're scared or unsure, it's okay to admit you feel that way. A lot of us felt like that when we wound up here. [she pauses, adding a soft smile]

Sometimes it's easier when you have someone you can call a friend. My name is Lenalee. What's yours?

[The words only made the boy's heart shudder in pain and his mask cracked and he looked away. The girl might have believed the words she said but to him... No life had proved time and time again that that just wasn't possible. Not for him.

However that wasn't her fault and there was no reason for her to worry about him so he forcefully shoved the darkness away again. He smiled at her.]

[well, that was a smile, at least. She returns it with one of her own. Her concern for the young man doesn't dissipate much, however.]

It's nice to meet you, Takashi. [she considers, her head tilting slightly.] Your name... are you from Japan?
