2nd memory ღ video.

[Setting the camera down on a rock, Ritsuka takes a few steps back looks into it. The camera focuses on a very confused looking young boy in a scarf standing under a frozen palm tree.]

This isn't something I'd ever need at this place... [He murmurs and adjust the scarf.] Um, I haven't been living here very long and maybe tropical beaches just work differently in these worlds, so this may sound like a stupid question... but is this normal?

[He gestures to the sea that's frozen solid just behind him.] It was like 80 digress yesterday and now it's freezin-

Minc-CHOO! [His ears perk up at the strange sounding sneeze and he looks over to see a strange animal tripping out from behind the palm tree.]

E-eh? What the- Is that a Heartless?!

[The boy watches from a safe distance for awhile until he notices it trembling.] You're freezing...

[Ritsuka takes a slow step towards it and it looks like it wants to run but it's too cold. He removes his scarf and sets it near the creature. It sniffs the scarf then starts to curl up close to it trying to get warm.]

Will you let me close? I can get you somewhere warm... [He slowly moves a hand towards the animal and lets it sniff him. When it seems to calm down again Ritsuka gently pets one of it's ears and eventually picks it up.]

That better, ...whatever you are?

Anyone know what this is to? If anyone knows I'd really appreciate the information... T-thanks. [The feed cuts off.]

I, ah-- have no idea what these things are, but weird creatures have just started showin' up all of a sudden, it seems like! I saw several when I was workin' at Land of Dragons.

Dunno why it's so frickin' cold, though! Beaches don't normally do that... Almost don't wanna go back to the dorms, it's so cold. Gah.

[This one... he's talks to Yuiko a lot and doesn't pick on her about her ears... Ritsuka decides to answer.]

They're on the other planets to?

[Is back at the door rooms when he gets Zell's call and the creature is wrapped up in a bundle of blankets on the bed.]

It's not too bad if you bundle up, but I think it's getting colder. You're on another planet now? Is the weather acting weird over there to?

Yup! I think there's a bunch of different ones, too.

Uh-huh. I'm patrollin' on the Land of Dragons, but... aside from the weird creatures, there's really nothin' different. I heard there's some weird gravity stuff goin' on in Radiant Garden, though! I have a few friends livin' there and I guess it's kinda crazy over there, too.

Wonder what the hell's goin' on...?

Different ones? You've seen more of them? Do they all look like weird squirrel things to?

[He eyes it when it gives another sneeze.]

No idea... maybe another planet was taken into the darkness and this is a result. Like when that music was everywhere...

[A worried look.]

Maybe it's related to all those weird creatures? Could one of them be causing this cold?

[ He's probably one of the few people dressed appropriately for the cold.]

Maybe...But that sounds like a really strong creature if it can make a whole planet freeze like this...

Minc-CHOO! [He's sitting in his dorm room now and the creature he found lets out a big sneeze from under the pile of blankets it was currently hiding in.]

There could be more than one of them.
[ He's pondering something.]

Some of the creatures at the Land of Dragons had strange powers.

Man, am I glad this place has solid walls! This totally beats being in a yurt.

Land of dragons? That blond guy I was talking to said the creatures are over there to. Just be careful, some of those weird powerful creatures might be heartless, not ...weird squirrel creatures lik-

[He's cut off by the animal's sneezing.]

Hm? A Yurt?

I'll make sure to avoid their notice.

well a yurt is a round portable cloth house, a bit different from a regular tent. My clan's nomadic during the summers, so that's where I used to live.

Oooh, you're from a different time period as well? [Like that kid with the eye patch only nicer.]

What year are you from? If you don't mind me asking...

Maybe, though I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes if we're from completely different worlds.

[He mentions the year. It is during the 19th Century.]

At least that's how I think the rest of the world counts it. How did you get a time period from me mentioning a yurt? Does your world not have nomads?

I didn't really get it from just yurts, your clothes look like something I read about in history books to, so I kind of just... took a guess.

I think we do... they're rare in the 21st century though.

[ He briefly looks down at what he's wearing.]

Ah, okay then. This video thing does make things more obvious.

Yeah, you are from the future compared to me.

Ah, I better he this thing something to eat or it'll never get better. It was nice talking to you and be careful out there!

Maybe it was saved from the the darkness to? None of the locals seem to know what it is so it's not from this planet...

The poor things. They have lost their world to, it's so sad.

Yeah, ... hey, you know.. the more I look at it, the more familiar these kind creatures seem.

Yeah... something about it, I can't quit place my finger on it though...

[It was like Mickey Mouse. In his world the mouse was popular for entertainment... this creature, he had a feeling was from something as well. A anime? A manga? Video game? Where had he seen it before...]

I have... no idea. It kind of looks like a squirrel or a rabbit. Maybe it'll like lettuce or nuts?

[He picks up the creature wrapped in the towel and starts heading out the door with it.]

Do you think it's a cross breed of a rabbit and squirrel?

They might be experiments!

...What? [Ritsuka's tail gives an annoyed twitch as Yuiko spouts out a bunch of odd theories. He looks down at the weird animal in his arms...well it was pretty odd looking, maybe her theory wasn't too far off.

Then again, to the people here, he and Yuiko looked pretty weird.]

Maybe, but I think it's just an alien like the rest of the people that come here. After all, to them we might look like lab experiments.

Maybe. Did I go a little too overboard before? I'm sorry if I did.
