[Ven hadn't chosen to get too close to the portal, but there'd been a battle with some Heartless and he just hadn't noticed that one was there when he rolled to dodge. He'd ended up rolling right into it, and there's almost a low, echoing clap of thunder in the background when he does.]

[When he comes out, he's splayed on his back... and while he still looks like Ven, at least at first, he's dressed in completely different clothing and yeah, that giant Keyblade? That big shiny thing that looks like it shouldn't exist? Well, it does, and he's holding it. Perhaps the worst of it all is, the Heartless that he was fighting earlier have stopped chasing him and are just standing in a ring around him, almost like soldiers at attention. His communicator had fallen out of his pocket before he dodged and turned itself on, so all of this is being broadcast from the Coliseum as well.]

[It's only a couple of moments before his eyes snap open and he springs to his feet, and Ven is athletic and acrobatic but this guy takes it to a whole new level. He raises the χ-blade and stares at it for a moment, then brings his free hand to his head as if there's something missing (and there is) and pats his hair - and then breaks into an absolutely creepy slasher smile, clenching his fingers into a tight fist and then out again.]

Looks like the idiot finally lost. [His voice is also different, double-layered and much more casual, cruel, and even deeper - the top layer's definitely Ven, the bottom, stronger layer is not. That smile only widens when he notices the Heartless standing nearby.] And to think - he actually did something useful and got me some new toys.

This is going to be fun.

[The tone in his voice makes it clear this won't be pleasant. He laughs, raising a hand - blackness swirls in little bits around him, manifesting as monsters as the smoke clears.]

Ruining this ridiculous speck of a world should be a good start.

[And he throws out the same hand - and the Heartless scatter, moving out into the town as fast as their feet can take them.]

[He watches, simply fascinated by what was going on from the device. Well, the boy looked like he was having fun and he sure as hell wasn't going to stop him from doing it, especially if it's aimed at people who need it.]

Well then, I won't stop you. In fact I rather you continue.

I don't need your permission. It's time the worlds learned what really matters in life - having the strength to get what you want by force.

[The weapon disappears as a dark portal opens behind him. Venitas looks out at the town once more, then turns and disappears into the swirling blackness, which closes once he's through.]

[He watched rather quietly at the sigh before him. The portal reminded him of Road's, she is able to travel like that herself, but it certainly was different. This was going to be rather interesting to know what exactly this boy will do. It will certainly be interesting indeed.]
