[ Joruk is looking worn out. His hair is unbraided and messy. He's not wearing his usual turban, or anything beyond underwear. He thinks this is more important than getting dressed.]

Uh guys? Has anyone else had someone appear from their world and try to get them to embrace the darkness?

[ shaky breath]

It's not real! Please, don't listen to them!

My cousin Amir appeared to me and it was all wrong! My wolf sensed it and attacked her, meaning I attacked her. Screw the pretense! I don't think anyone was falling for it, anyway.

[ shudders]

The smell was off! The eyes were too light!

[ Now, he's crying.]

I lost control of myself. I couldn't stand seeing that mockery of her.

[ Some in Agrabah, may have heard the howl of a wolf a few hours prior to this entry, though it happened in an isolated part of the desert where he was hunting heartless.]

[There had been a lot going on this past week, people needing help and friends being tempted by the darkness... Saturn had tried to help as many as she could. That was the reason she was paroling Agrabah and the reason she happened across Joluk crying there in the street.
Her first instinct was that something had happened to him.]

Are you hurt?

[And then she noticed the way he was dressed. ]

I should get you a blanket.

[ He was still in pain from transforming. He hardly noticed the minor scratches from his previous battle with heartless. Those were rapidly healing.]

Hurt,not injured. Used to it.

Well, not the part about mauling something that looked like my cousin.

[Sailor Saturn paid one of the vendor's and was at at Joluk's side with the blanket in no time. ]

Your cousin? You must have faced one of those shadow people then. They are trying to trick us unto joining the darkness.

Yeah...

It smelled wrong.The real Amir wouldn't ask that of me. She's too full of light. I miss her.

[ He hardly noticed the blanket, or that he was still in tears. ]

So, it wasn't really her? The screams sounded real.

[Poor guy. Hotaru tried to make certain the blanket was tightly wrapped around his shoulders. ]

No, that wasn't real. You didn't really hurt anyone you care about.

[ It helped a bit to hear someone else confirm that Amir was an illusion.]

It made me doubt my instincts. I went berserk on that thing.

[ That frightened him. Even a submissive wolf could be deadly.]

Could you take me down, if I turned on someone real?

I think that is what the shadow wanted to do. It wanted to confuse you so that you would turn to the darkness for help.

[Sailor Saturn patted his shoulder.]

I don't think you will attack anyone else now, but if you do I promise I will stop you.

[ It did confuse him, and make him doubt himself.]

I've been too close to the darkness before. It frightens me.

[ He was never ashamed to admit his fears.]

Me too.

[Even before she had awakened as a Sailor Senshi she had been the target for dark creatures. ]

We just have to try our best to resist it from now on.

Yeah...

[ He drew in another shaky breath and wiped his face.]

I tried to warn everyone.

Did you? Everyone must have been so busy with their own problems that they didn't notice.

[She didn't remember seeing a warning but then again she had been working pretty non-stop to try and help everyone. ]

Can I help you get home? You do live in Agrabah some where?

Yeah, the weird stuff is distracting. I guess transforming out here was a waste of time, but I can't talk in wolf form.

[ He felt useless with the realization that his message would go unheeded.]

I'm sorta staying with a friend, except he doesn't really recognize me. He's suddenly an innkeeper.

[ The way Joruk was suddenly a werewolf.]

Maybe some one will notice. Not everyone might have run into something strange.

Which inn? I can walk with you to make sure you make it back there safely.

I think he called it something like Prime Extraordinary Tagetes?

[ He wasn't sure about the name.]

It's kinda run down. It might not have been here before the portal stuff happened.

[ He looked to his communicator.]

I think Agni is gonna come here, if he can find his way.

[Wow, that is a mouthful of a name. ]

I think you're right. I haven't heard of that place before. I could just wait here with you until Agni shows up?

Could you stay?

[ There was some desperation in his request. He was afraid of being alone.]

I don't know if the portals can take people to different worlds, as well. Before this mess, I'm pretty sure he lived in Radiant Garden.

[ He was trying to distract himself from the horrors of the shadow Amir.]

Yes, I will.

[She will just be gliding him over to a bench off to the side of the road though. This was a better place to wait. ]

I think it can. I have seen a few people end up on different worlds because of those portals and they always think they are some one strange.

[ He let her lead him. Her reassurance calmed him a little.]

Some were really changed. At least Agni somehow remembered what gummi ships are.

He might have been lucky and only had a few memories change. He still remembered you too from the way you spoke about him? You must be great friends.

I'm not so sure. Maybe a part of him remembers, but he thinks he's still in India and he was kinda formal with me.

We're really close. He's the only one who's even heard of where I come from.

If he remembers at all I think that is a good thing. You can watch out for each other until this is all over.

I'm hoping it'll be over soon.

[Admittedly, most of what his tenant said went right over his head but Joruk was obviously quite shaken from the experience. Wait- pretense? What pretense? There was one person that had fallen for the guy and his pet wolf story and that was Innkeeper Agni,/small>]

You mean to say that you were your wolf?!- Er, that you and the wolf are the same creature?

[No matter how he phrased it it didn't sound any better. The shock was quite great but.. there was something about Joruk that seemed familiar. He had seemed so friendly in person too... and he was his only tenant. Balling his hand into a fist, he decided that he should find Joruk and help in any way he could.]

Stay right where you are, my friend, I will be there shortly. No matter what transpired, I'm certain you did what you had to do.

[Which was hopefully not actually a murder.. like it sounded like. He left the communicator on as he rushed to find the other.]

Yeah, we're the same. I just named that side of me after a family member.

[ It was just a darkness clone, but it was made to look like his cousin. That was what disturbed him. He stayed put.]

[Agni hadn't run into any of the clones himself, so the phenomenon was something new to him.]

What an extraordinary talent you possess. [Agni replied trying to keep the conversation light as he searched the area]

How long did it take you to discover that you could transform into another creature?

[He was getting closer]

Actually, it happened after a wolf almost killed me.

[ He shuddered at the memory.]

It was someone from a different clan. He probably would've put me down if I turned out dominant.

[Agni paled. So much for keeping the conversation light]

Oh.. uh.. well.

[Subject change needed]

I think I see you!

[ It was a scary experience for alternate Joruk. He was still shaking. At least he was able to stop crying. He sniffed and looked around to see where Agni would come from.]

I think I smell you.

[ Awkward pause.]

Okay, maybe that sounded a bit creepy.

[He paused as casually as possible and tried to discretely discern what he smelled like.. hopefully it was nothing bad. Then he sheepishly replied]

It was only a bit.. unusual.

[Picking up the pace again he soon closed the distance between himself and Joruk. He'd had the foresight of mind to at least bring a spare jacket for the other, if he was feeling the need for modesty or if he was cold... though Agrabah was fairly warm in general]

There you are!

[ It's nothing bad. The smell was human and friendly.]

Sorry, my sense of smell is more useful than sight.

[ He didn't care about modesty at this point. It wasn't the weather that was causing him to shiver.]

Oh, that is quite alright. I've never been a wolf before- but I would imagine they would possess a heightened sense of smell.

[He reasoned, helping himself to move on. He moved over to Joluk.]

Are... you alright? You still look a bit shaken up.

Yeah, my hearing is better too.

[ He was still shaken. The darkness took the form of someone he loved as he attacked it. It didn't take much to get him to start crying again.He covered his face.]

[There wasn't anytime to ponder on all the merits of these heightened senses, as Joluk's condition took precedence. Agni glanced about atfirst, searching for anything he could say or do to make the situation seem lighter but the only thing that came to mind was to hug the other man. Moving over he did just that.]

It was just some terrible sort of phantom, it's all over now.

[If Joruk completely lost it, Agni would probably join in on the tearing up'

[He needed the comfort. He clung to Agni, though he tried not to grip him too hard. He was afraid of hurting the other man, even if the battle and transformation sapped most of his strength.]

Still hurts.

[There were still tears, but he wasn't in hysterics.]

Sphinx! It is about time.

[Finally Massie found another monster like her]

You shouldn't hide that you're a werewolf. Nothing is ever going to change if we keep to the shadows.

[Wait- what else was this guy going on about? Ah well, it wasn't as important]

Well, I just didn't want to scare anyone, or get into any useless fights.

[ He was a submissive wolf.]

It doesn't really matter now.

[She was a headstrong Egyptian princess/mummy and she was tired of living in fear of what normies might do or think of her]

They'll get over it.

Well...yeah. I don't like confrontation.

Back home, everyone in my clan wanted me to hide it from outsiders. I guess I was just used to that.

It probably isn't even that strange, consider people from other worlds have all sorts of powers.

[Massie was being a bit of a hypocrite. She had been one of the people who resisted coming out of the sarcophagus so to speak]

Well who does?

The elders in my clan seem to like it well enough, and the Russians enjoy it way too much since they're trying to take over all this territory.

My clan thinks I could be a secret weapon against the Northern invaders.

[ He comes from a clan of warriors. They consider him a wimp.]

Expanding ones kingdom is one thing, hiding one's true nature is another.

[She replied, content to file her nails like they were talking about the latest teen heartthrob and not war]

Either option isn't very safe.

It's in my instincts to seek the safest option, as a submissive wolf.

No, but one brings you more power and riches.

[Which are important]

Submissive? [She smirked wryly, the adjective appealed to her. As a future queen she needed "submissive" people around.] Then we should get along fang-tastically.

I don't care about that stuff, as long as I have enough to eat.

It's probably what allowed me to survive without joining a pack. A dominant wolf has a lot more aggression to deal with.
Maybe, it's easier to get along with someone when you're not competing with them.
