❦ 002 ❦ Hermione Granger : VIDEO :: Traverse Town

[It's sometime in the evening and Hermione has been busy tidying up her new apartment. It looks wonderful, really. There's a new desk with tidy rows of books decorating its shelves against the wall, and by the window sill she's managed to find some flowers to match the curtains and add some color to the place. On the floor, however, there's a cauldron bubbling and oozing out white smoke across the floor. She doesn't seem to have a problem with it.]

I think that about does it.

[She pours some more ingredients into what she's making before rubbing her hands together and standing up again.]

How unfortunate, I should have packed more ingredients. Now I'll have to restock on everything. Salamander tail, toad bile, crushed marigold's- do they even have these things here, I wonder?

[She settled herself on the bed, moving an open notebook onto her lap and scribbling things down.]

I hope everyone is doing well after last week's affair. Truth be told, I was worried about some of you.

[D'awww look at her making potions. At least he knows she can do that easily. Which must mean she can cook as well. Fai switched on the feed, happily sitting at the bar for the meantime, his hand pressed lightly against his chin.]

I think it was a rather unusual experience, but an experience none the less. As for the ingridients, I believe Halloween Town might be of some use.

[Fai, what are you thinking about Hermione cooking for, is that what you look for in a woman?]

Were you affected by it? Would you like to come with me to Halloween Town?

[It's a general thought, and something to get to know someone better, okay.]

Ah, yes I was. I thought I was a chemistry teacher. [Which goes oh so well with potions, don't you think.]

I would love to accompany you. The staff working right now seem pretty capable of handling things by themselves.

Chemistry? [She gave a little little girlish laugh.] Do you know chemistry at all?

No, as I said the world I'm from I most studied magic. But if I recall what I do remember, it's not that much different from potion make, except more likely to explode.

Yes, I quite agree. When would you like to leave for Halloween Town?

I'm free any time to make my way over.

[Plus he's going to give you time to get there first since it only takes a few seconds for him.]

Then I'll meet you there. I can send you a quick text if you're going to appa- I mean, teleport over.

I'll be waiting, then.

[After a good few moments, she finally managed to get to Halloween Town. She sent him a quick text before waiting in the main plaza.]

[And given the man he was there within a few minutes, appear in a all new Halloween Town theme outfit. Though the man himself found it some what ironic considering.]

I see you made it here okay.

[She's very much cloaked and pale. She finds it... hilarious, really.]

I see you changed appearance as well, how amusing! I think I'm a doll. [Flashes him her stitches across her neck!

[He nods, making sure to look her over, yep she does appear to be a doll. He himself knew he was once again a vampire, or at least some form of it.]

This is one of the few worlds where your appearance changes. the others are Andy's Room, Pride Lands and Atlantica.

I find it amusing, really. [She'll give a little twirl before getting serious.]

All right, so! I think I saw a shop over in that corner.

[With a smile he starts to walk.]

Hopefully it's the one we are looking for.

You make a very charming vampire, if I may say so myself.

[And he's going to not answer to that because just the mention of being a vampire reminds me of what he actually once was. So, upon getting to the store, he changes the subject.]

[This store certainly was special.]

Oh, toad's bile! [Taking some of that!]

It must have a lot for different types of potions. I wonder if they have stuff I would use at home.

Do you make potions too?

Not as often as magic, but I do know of potions that I read in a book once. Didn't really do if often though.

I was the best student in my potions class despite how much my professor disliked me.

You must have been really smart. After all it's not easy to mix a potion than say, bake a cake.

[He knelt down in front of salamanders tails to take a closer look.]

Although the skill's are the same, the method behind them are different.

I agree. Sometimes nature itself contributes. For example a polyjuice potion, you can't brew it during the long stretches of summer.

[And she pauses looking at Fai.]

Do you know how to make potions?

As part of my learning, yes I do, but I don't dabble in it much.
