( there’s a clunk of a book falling to a table, which hits her device and causes it to start recording. )

Bother, I’ll get that in a moment… ( she mutters to herself and for a time it goes unnoticed to the housekeeper that the trinket is recording at all, as she’s still busying herself with dusting the shelf the book fell from. clearly it’s been far too long since this place had a proper and complete cleaning, she’s been trying, but the whole building needed a one over and it’s been taking a lot of time.

Belle finally settles down to a chair in the front room of Rumpel’s shop, fanning herself with the collar of her dress as she tosses the rag to the table. ) So much work to do here, this is almost worse than Dark Castle was.

( it’s then that she finally notices the device and smiling to it, leans to grasp it. )

Well, well… I don’t suppose anyone wants to lend a hand with a bit of clean-up? ( she chuckles, considering it’s not really what one would normally call a ‘bit’ of a clean-up. ) I suppose I might as well serve this as a public announcement: anyone with severe dust allergens might want to avoid Rumpelstiltskin’s store — at least for another hour or two before I’ve finished with it.

[Musa eventually found the place she was looking for before, finally walking through the shops entrance.]

I'm here.

( glancing up from the table she found herself dusting, she smiles to the young lady. assuming that she's the young lady whom offered to help her with tidying up, she sets the duster down and gives her a greeting nod. )

Welcome to Rumpelstiltskin's. ( a half-curtsy. ) And thank you for the offer to help — I feel a might rude, I never got your name nor offered my own. I'm Belle and it's lovely to meet someone so kind.

Nice to meet cha Belle, My name is Musa.

[She wasn't the type to curtsey, but did at the thought she was being impolite.]

So, what do you need help with cleaning wise?

Musa, what a pretty name.

( giving a light sigh, Belle motions to some of the shelves with items taken off of them. the only thing remaining on them is a thick sheet of dust. )

I've been trying to clean up all the dust on the shelves, no one wants to buy things covered in filth, after all. If you don't mind helping with the dusting for the moment?

[Musa glanced over the dust. Dear god when was the last time this place was dusted. Rolling up her sleeves slightly she went and got ready.]

Dusting shouldn't be too hard.

I know, ( she nods, mostly replied to her reaction at the vast amount of dust covering this place. ) he just made trade for this place and I don't think it had been cleaned in years.

Mm! I hope not, just beware the many sneezes that might come from it. ( with that, she offers the young lady a cloth to dust with, since at this point, a feather duster just won't do the job. )

[She takes the cloth with a smile before going to the allotted area and started to wipe the service down. She watched at the cloth gathered the dust and stuck to the cloth and small bits of duct that were left has clumped together.]

Well, this might take more than one wipe over.

( Belle finds herself chuckling at the comment. )

It certainly won't, not at this point. It's gone far too long without being cleaned.

Did someone else stay here before you moved in?

[She was curious, if not then it also explains why it's so dusty.]

I'm not entirely certain. ( she gives a gentle shrug ) But it must have been used at some point, otherwise it's construction doesn't make much sense, does it?

[She moves on over to the next surface, happily dusting away.]

Though I wonder what it was used for then.

Perhaps another store?

( she smiles, it's interesting to think of what might have taken place in here before. there are lots of options. )

Unless it's just housing dust. ( she chuckles )

[She laughed.]

I guess with all the shelves, it could have been a shop. Maybe something like hats.

[She wipes some dust away before putting the cloth on her leg, trying to now remove the dust from the cloth.]

Hats, mm. There's always use for hats.

( like Musa, she was cleaning dust off of her rag before returning to sliding the cloth along the shelves to collect even more of it. )

Or perhaps shoes.

I could see shoes being sold here.

[She thought of Stella for that brief moment and her love for shopping.]

Maybe even something like China.

[She quietly continues to dust once more.]

( that thought made her sigh happily. what Belle wouldn't do for a good book or two. )

I wouldn't put it past here really. I mean there are pretty much library's in almost every world.

Are there? I wonder if they have information on the other worlds within them.
