( there’s a clunk of a book falling to a table, which hits her device and causes it to start recording. )

Bother, I’ll get that in a moment… ( she mutters to herself and for a time it goes unnoticed to the housekeeper that the trinket is recording at all, as she’s still busying herself with dusting the shelf the book fell from. clearly it’s been far too long since this place had a proper and complete cleaning, she’s been trying, but the whole building needed a one over and it’s been taking a lot of time.

Belle finally settles down to a chair in the front room of Rumpel’s shop, fanning herself with the collar of her dress as she tosses the rag to the table. ) So much work to do here, this is almost worse than Dark Castle was.

( it’s then that she finally notices the device and smiling to it, leans to grasp it. )

Well, well… I don’t suppose anyone wants to lend a hand with a bit of clean-up? ( she chuckles, considering it’s not really what one would normally call a ‘bit’ of a clean-up. ) I suppose I might as well serve this as a public announcement: anyone with severe dust allergens might want to avoid Rumpelstiltskin’s store — at least for another hour or two before I’ve finished with it.

she smiles though ) Destiny Islands? That sounds promising.

It's really nice there. [he wouldn't have chosen to live there if it wasn't. he smiles curiously.] Have you ever been to the beach? Seen the ocean?

The beach — no. I have heard of oceans but never properly seen them. Our village was closer to hills and mountains, I always dreamed of seeing the waters but I never managed to. I ended up in Dark Castle and then here.

That settles it. You need to see the beach. The ocean is...it's so amazing so you have to see it for yourself!

I would love to! ( she grins ) I want to see the glitter of the ocean in the sunlight, Papa told me about that when I was little. It sounds beautiful.

It is. [he stares off a little past her.] The ocean is kind of like one big mirror. It always reflects the sky. At night, it's like the entire view is made of stars, and when the sun sets, everything is bright orange and red...and it glitters during the day, too. [he nods and grins.]

( she raises her brows at his description and feels her cheeks flushing a soft red with a blush. )

That sounds incredibly romantic and beautiful. I very much want to see it.

I could show you, sometime. I'll even bring a Blitzball!

( confusion tugs at her features. )

A blitzball? What's that?

It's a ball, for a game with the same name that you play underwater.

It's cool if you don't want to.

( well that might prove a bit difficult, considering... ) I suppose I should learn to swim first, mm?

You don't know how to swim? [he blinks in interest.]

I've never seen the water before, so. I've never learned.

It's a good thing to learn, even if you never play Blitzball. You never know when you'll need to. I can teach you.

You would do that for me? ( she beams )

Of course. [he smiles, placing his hands on his hips.] I'd be happy to.

Excellent! I'm not entirely certain what to do in order to prepare, but— ( can you SEE her excite?! )

[he's happy to see someone so excited!] Try to find some lighter clothing.

( lighter clothing, well, she can ask Lizzie for help with that. ) I'll do that!
