Uh. Guys.

I don't ... want to be the bearer of bad news here, and I know all of you seem to be enjoying the new creatures that showed up not long ago, but uhm...

Apparently, there's a reason behind the lovely ocean you seen behind suddenly freezing over. I love snow just as much as the next person, but it's kind of weird to see it happening ... on a beach. [ she lowers the camera to her feet to demonstrate just that, then lifts it back to herself again ]

Now I'm sure you're asking "Rinoa, why is part of the ocean frozen over?" Well! Upon further investigation of this strange phenomenon, I've discovered that there's apparently a very lovely creature wandering in our midst.

And by lovely I mean he doesn't appear all that happy when I get near—

[ A pause as Suicune makes a noise in the background. There's a bit of jumbling as she begins to run, covering some distance between her and whatever Pokemon seems to be battle crying out in the distance. She's not taking her chances on being the next icy target. After a moment she finally stops moving and looks back toward the camera. ]

I ... I don't see any good coming out of letting this thing run rampant. If you're here on Destiny Islands then please, please keep your distance. It isn't safe out here anymore!

So that thing making the weird noise is what's been messing up the ocean.

That's what it looks like. I guess it thought the beach could use a bit of a makeover. Doesn't look too friendly, either. I'm worried about the state of the island if it keeps this up.

Get away from it and stay there.

We have to make sure everyone gets to safety. Then I'll try to stop it, before anyone gets hurt.

[Yes, Aqua is willing to take that thing on alone.]

But it's kind of destroying my home and everything surrounding it. I can't run from it forever nor can the other civilians here. I have to do something!

Right. [ wait, alone? shakes her head! ] Wait, no!

What if you get hurt? I wouldn't tackle that thing head on just yet. It doesn't look very happy and who knows what other abilities it's able to do.

[She was expecting a reaction like that. Aqua just sighs, her voice perfectly level, but determined.]

I understand the risks. But I can't just sit around and wait while it puts everyone here in danger.

If anything, I should try to tackle it. I mean I'm already near it! [ looks out toward the distance ] In fact, maybe I should.

Don't! You'll only put yourself in harm's way.

[The camera jostles as Aqua makes to go outside and find Rinoa, just to make sure she doesn't do anything rash. Hypocritical, maybe, but Aqua is confident of her own abilities. She doesn't know a thing about how well Rinoa can fight.]

I won't! I'll be fine! [ she hopes ] I just want to try and keep it away from the town! I'll act as a diversion!

[He really didn't mind if she called him that, just not on a regular basis in front of other people, but Rinoa didn't need to know that.]

We have troubles here too, things are floating everywhere.

[Leon knew she was right about the others too though.]

Try and keep as many safe as you can then.

Floating? Do you guys have one of those monster-like things, too?

[ a hesitated pause as she looks out toward where the beast is ]

Right! What's important is making sure everyone else is safe! [ there's a pause as she comes up with a brilliant idea ] I'm going to try and bait it away from the village!

Rinoa!!

[He's not happy that she's in trouble. If he was there, he'd try to save her.]

Run!

R-Rinoa! Be careful!

We gotta do somethin', though...! Can't just let that thing turn Destiny Islands into a giant glacier!

I figured it was gonna be one of those creatures.

[ He's holding back the comment about wondering if it's edible, since it might hear him.]

I did! Don't worry, I got this!

I just have to get back there if I want to keep him away from the townsfolk.

Don't worry, Zell! I think I have a plan.

I'll just play decoy while everyone else either evacuates or gets to safety! Anything to keep him from disturbing the townsfolk! You just see about rounding up some help!

They're not all too friendly, either. This one seems to have a fascination with snow!

Maybe it's homesick?

[ The snow reminds him of home, so maybe the creatures feel the same way.]

-a whole ocean?! That thing froze up a whole ocean?! That shouldn't- with the depth of the water and it's salt concentration, freezing it up instantly shouldn't be-

[In which Lucca attempts to logic at pokemon.]

If you let that thing kick your ass, you deserve it. Especially being a Sorceress. [Seifer Almasy, always willing to lend a hand!]

[Gives the camera an annoyed face]

[This comes out as more of a snarled command because he really can't do anything, he's got his hands full.]
