[This wasn’t exactly the sort of party Hermes had been longing for but yeah, a party was a party. It was definitely something he could give his full support. Supposing that someone had missed Minako’s announcement the messenger of the Gods decided to help the girls out in getting the word out there]

Listen up, cats and kittens, ladies and gentlemen! As you’ve possibly heard already, there’s going to be a birthday party for one of our own on this upcoming Saturday. Why don’t we all show our support and join in the festivities, you dig?

The dress is formal, so get your best togas out of storage, and find a person to accompany you. Don’t forget to bring a little something for the birthday girl- although a gift isn’t mandatory the other two stipulations are.

Eh, consequently, I haven’t asked anyone myself so if anyone’s available let me know. Saleh, Dante, Lizzie, Undertaker, Oz? Any of you cats free? [He listed off a few of the people he’d managed to make the acquaintance of. He couldn‘t afford to miss a party and genuinely enjoyed the company of everyone he mentioned]

[If that wasn’t enough, Hermes was going to travel from world to world to deliver the news in person, feel free to have him run into you on one of the worlds if you like.]

[Saleh hasn't paid much attention to all of these birthday party announcements, so he's just sitting on the sidewalk in Traverse Town, apparently meditating.]

[Hermes was flitting about through the town filling everyone in on the details. Sure it might have seemed silly to advertise a party for a person you hadn't met yet.. but Hermes didn't see it like that. They were all in this together, and had to act as each others extended families.. plus he loved a good party and tended to like most people. Catching sight of Saleh, he glided over to him and hovered.]

There's going to be a big shindig on the 30th at Beast's Castle. Everyone whose going is to bring someone with them and dress formally, babe.

Might be just the place to meet some of the other refugees, wouldn't you think? [Trying to sell this idea] All catered too. [FREE FOOD]

[Sadly it was the case that his last 'guest' had just been buried so the likelihood of borrowing anything from him was actually very slim. ]

They mean a 'formal ball'... something only the great nobles attend while people like me are not invited~

[He doesn't seem upset about that really just stating the way things were at home. ]
