[For the past few weeks, Obi-Wan has hardly come out of the Temple except to work for Fai. What has he been doing, you may ask? 30% meditation, 70% project. As a matter of fact, he's parked near that project right now. If the grease smudges all over his face and hands and the wide, pleased grin on his face are any indication, it's obvious he's been working with machines. He's nowhere near the genius Anakin is with them, but he knows his way around them well enough-- and he's had plenty of help.]
Hello there. It's been a while, hasn't it?
As you can see, I've been working on a bit of a project with some of the mechanics here in the Jedi Temple. [He turns the feed around, showing various scraps of metal on the ground, then a gummi ship that has obviously had some work done to it. Jedi work. It looks significantly buffed up and streamlined. Some fellow Jedi can still be seen, making minor adjustments and adding some finishing touches.] We have a great deal of technology available to us and with the problems we've been facing recently, it may become necessary to pilot these ships during a heartless attack. We have starfighters here, certainly, but gummi ships are better equipped to travel between worlds. We thought it would be in our best interest if we could learn how to modify your gummi ships with our technology.
It took quite a bit of elbow grease, but we managed to integrate a force field generator and more potent weapons systems into the ship. It has also been modified to fly faster for aerial combat. We've just taken it for a test drive and it works fantastically! There are still some things we need to perfect, but I wanted to gauge the interest of anyone who might want one of their own.
[Private to Qui-Gon]
Before you wonder what in the stars I did to our gummi ship, it works the same as it did before, I promise! There are just a few extra buttons, really. I'm headed home soon-- we can take it for a spin if you like.
[After a moment, Obi-Wan's expression simmers to one more serious and earnest.]
And Master-- I've... had time to reflect on some things. I would like to speak to you. It seems as if we haven't had much time to discuss things what with everything going on and now that I've had time to meditate... [He trails off, then adds:] I think it would be good to get it out of the way.
[Private to Tidus]
Tidus, how are you doing? Have things gotten any better?
[He's worried about you, bro.]

[And with that said, he decides not to linger. He puts away his communicator and focuses on flying his ship towards home. Thanks to the amped up speed, he arrives a little quicker than usual. He steps inside their house, looking around and keeping an ear open for the sound of that furret to tell him where his Master was or if he was home at all yet.]
Qui-Gon?
【ACTION】
In here, Obi-Wan. Care for some tea? Don't ask me what it tastes like, my curiosity got the better of me.
【ACTION】
Why am I not surprised. I'd like to try some anyway, yes. [After all, he likes tea, so it can't be too bad. As he moves to get the cups for the tea, he begins to relay his thoughts after a few moments of silence.]
You were right, Master. [Sometimes, those words can be really hard to say. Especially in this case, but at least they're out now. He moves over to the counter and sets the cups down for Qui-Gon.] Things happen for a reason and I should not resist them if they are meant to be. That doesn't mean I'm going to give up. I... can't give up. [He's still going to try to save his Master and the Order with everything he's got.] But if I don't succeed, I'm... prepared to face my future. Refusing to play my part would only make things worse. [Acceptance is the hardest thing and it's such a bleak future; he doesn't want it, but he'll endure it if he must.]
I wanted you to know that I understand that now. You don't have to worry about me.
【ACTION】
You are very wise, padawan. Many in your situation never find acceptance. It is something I couldn't help you with even if I tried. The decisions we make also choose our paths. You are very wise, Obi-Wan. I have no doubts about that.
【ACTION】
But Qui-Gon-- if, when our worlds are fully returned to us, we return to the very moment we were pulled from... tell me you won't give up. You have to fight.
【ACTION】
It is my duty to protect the republic and to protect you. I'm sorry if when we return our time is cut so short, but until my dying breath I will not surrender. I do not fear death. You have my word I won't give up.
【ACTION】
It's good to hear that. All we can do now, then, is work hard and treasure the time that's been given to us. I will try to keep my mind in the present.
[He looks to his cup.]
This tea would be a good place to start. Did you happen to find out what was in it?
【ACTION】
Leaves. Crushed leaves if you wish for me to be precise. [He mused.]
But tell me, is that all on your mind, Obi-Wan?
