[ Maybe it's their mind playing tricks on them, maybe it's just a figment of their imagination. Or did they just see someone scamper past in a black trench coat? They just might have. Yet for some reason, someone- while it's hard to distinguish who with their hood up like that, comes briskly darting along not-so-subtly through the streets.

They look like they're just trying too hard, but it's habit and they just... need to feel that comfort zone as they do their best to get away from that moogle who seemed a little too curious about them. And its persistence only made them further push away, further remember what they have to do. A matter that assembles into words as they look down at the device it gave them at the corner of an alley, taking a breather. What did that moogle say about it? They turn it over curiously before that attention becomes mechanical, attention diverting elsewhere. [Accidental Audio] ]

How did I get here? [ The voice is that of a young girl, pausing uncertainly afterwards. Some people might even recognize that voice. It happens to be that of a familiar red head... ] ...I have to get back to the-

Hi there! Are you new here, kupo?

[ There's a surprised yelp followed by crackling as the communicator hits the ground. ]

( ooc: Meet Xion. She's a little bit on the skittish side at the moment due to just having woken up after, uh, fighting with one of her best friends. And now she's on the look-see about finishing what she was out to do, but then moogles happened. She knows she shouldn't talk to him. Talking will just make things harder. She'd had all that resolve not long ago and yet.

[Aaaaand not only does she say she's not Kairi, that's not a Kairi reaction. Something is officially screwed up... and he's got another suspicion as to who's underneath that coat.]

[ Another voice- this time unfamiliar. Or... are they? No, she's certain she's never heard whoever's talking to her over this... thing before.

And they're... calling her Kairi, too? Jeez, isn't that thar red head popular today? ] I'm not Kairi- Listen, I... [ Why is she even answering these people? Why are they contacting her in the first place? But then the moogle did say everyone can keep in touch using these thing, but she....

And doesn't she have something she needs to do? Just as soon as she finds her way out of sight, she'll... ]

[ Awful lot is an understatement. And also clearly describes how similar the voice the girl on this end hears. It's an echo of her own. That's for certain. First, someone who looks and sounds like Roxas. And now... ]

Kairi... [ The name escapes her before she even realizes what she's done and for the moment, all she can do is remain frozen, almost detached from the situation and yet there at the same time. Because... is that... really her? And if it is... ]

At this point, she's at least over the fact that apparently people can hear her with this thing. Why she's still holding onto it? She's not entirely sure. What all help is it gonna be when she goes back anyway? But the moogle had emphasized its importance, pushed it on her like her life would depend on it...

She debates on whether or not to answer, regardless. But in the end, he sounds worried like Kairi's other friends here. And the last thing she wants is to worry one of them. Even if it kind of... okay, it definitely makes things complicated. She'll... try to make it short. ] I'm... not Kairi. [ Broken record here, this kid. ] -She's okay though. [ After all, she just heard from her. ...She just might be a little brain broken is all. ]

[ Just arrived? Well, she's never been to a place like the town she's landed in before. That's for certain. And she's not sure how she got there either. But...

-Huh, she knows about the moogles, too? Just who are all these people and what do they want with her? Actually, wait. ]

What do you mean about just arrived? [ Because the moogle had said something about that, too. But it's weird, this coming from someone over these... strange device things. At least she's growing accustom to the fact that people are talking to her over them? Slightly. So much for Organization protocol. ]

[So she's stopped by traverse town to pick up a few things....maybe get a treat for herself from a store too. But she didn't expect to see someone so strangely dressed running towards an alley.

Curiosity getting the better of her, she follows after the small shape, finally catching up only after they've been scared half to death by the moogle]

[ Okay, seriously. She wasn't scared half to death, okay? Simply surprised. Yes. She's going to stick to that story and no one can stop her. Ah-ha! Of course, that also means that jump at the voice behind her had nothing to do with her being surprised either. Nor the way she slowly looks back as if expecting a ghost.

And lo and behold, it's... not a ghost. It's a girl. A girl with a couple of bags at that. A resident of this world, she guesses. Xion takes a step back before something seems to hit her. And shortly after, she's on the ground, searching for the device she dropped. She doesn't know why, but somehow it just doesn't feel right not taking proper care of it even if it won't matter soon enough. The moogle still entrusted it to her, emphasized its importance, so. ]

[ By then, she's gotten over the fact that people are talking to her through this thing. It helped, too, that the moogle stalled her enough to explain the gist of its use. Although it didn't really hit her until she'd gotten so many people's attention without meaning to. The answer this time comes more practiced. ]

It was just a moogle. I'm okay. [ Does everyone here worry about other people they don't know? She always thought people just worried about friends. ]
