[Lizzie for once hadn't switched on the feed to video, instead she had chosen to simply use voice.]

The birthday party was such a fun night, wouldn't you agree? Everyone had fun and rather enjoyed themselves. Someone even threw an awards ceremony... although I didn't quite understand it myself, but it was still sweet either way.

[It went quiet for a moment.]

Anyway, since the party I wanted to show everyone something... but well, I didn't want to ruin a young girls birthday, so I thought I would show you know.

[It's again quiet for the next couple of minutes before finally the feed switches of to reveal Lizzie. Although her shoes were still rather childish and without any heels, her clothes and hair were something more mature, a change so to speak as she smile.]

Since I reached sixteen a while back, I thought that now I should start learning to act my age and therefore begin to act more like a lady.

[Her hands ran down her dress, making sure that there were no creases upon the fabric, it had to be perfect or at least a good amount of decent.] I also hope that I can talk with you more in the future, maybe over a cup of fruit tea, or tea in general. [With that she smiles and curtseys before going to switch off the feed.]

...Perhaps I am ignorant...but I fail to understand how age has anything to do with you being more or less of a lady.

Where I'm from, when you reach a certain age there are things that you are able to do, thus you become a lady.

Hmm...what can you do that you couldn't before? What prevented you from doing them?

It would seem that we have very different cultures. I was merely trying to understand yours, nothing more. I had found you to be ladylike and mature beyond your years, so...I apologize.

I think that's admirable, Lizzie. [She smiles a little.] Tea sounds nice, too.

Tea is always a nice way to get to know someone.

I agree. [She smiles a little.] My grandfather and I used to have tea together a lot. What kind do you like?

I like the Earl Gray usually, but I find that fruit ta that has that taste as well.

[Michiru has a faint smile on her face at that.] You look lovely. Very much like a proper lady.

Why thank you. It took me a while to do though. Mainly because it's not something I am use to.

Well, I'm sure with practice it will become easier.

Right, it took me over six months to be able to style my hair before, this time I'll try and do it in less.

I'm sure you'll do it. When was your birthday?

It was in June, near the end of the month.

Well, in that case, Happy Birthday -- a bit belatedly.

I hope so to, but this would be my second birthday here since I arrived.

That's quite a long time, to be in this place. Away from home.

Over a year is a long time, and I had my moments where I get really home sick. But, people have helped me get through that and I'm grateful to all of them. So, until my world comes back I know to just keep smiling.

That's a mature way of looking at it. You must be a strong person.

[She shakes her head.]

Why thank you kind sir. But I will admit I am sixteen, I'm one year older than Ciel, who is fifteen in December, I believe.

Well, it's because we're in a unknown world.

I guess that's a decent excuse.

Plus my fiancé has been very busy with his business and all.

Now that's no excuse. He sure likes to open his mouth and stand up for your honor but he doesn't want to marry you?

[She smiles.]

That's because Ciel is Ciel.

He's not much of a man if he can't keep his promises.

He isn't a man yet, he is only fourteen.

So he needs one more year, that doesn't mean he shouldn't put in the effort.

You really don't like Ciel do you?

I don't care about him. [So yeah, he doesn't like him either.]

I guess he has a lot of people who don't like him. but he wasn't always this way.

That so.

[Okay, so he's a little curious but not really.]

You defend him too much.

I defend him because I love Ciel so much.
