[At first, there's not a whole lot of anything showing up on the feed-- just the sound of a violent sneeze and a sad 'nyaaah?' from Griever the skitty. Then it becomes apparent Griever has the communicator in her mouth and she's trying to nudge Leon into taking it.]

Griever--... [He sounds terribly congested and proceeds to sniff.] Stop it.

[When he lifts his head up - which was buried into his pillow - to glare at her, he looks terrible too. Someone has been working too hard and not taking care of himself.]

I was sleeping. Isn't that good enough for-- ...for-- [SNEEZE.]

...Forget it. [He drops his face back into the pillow.] And turn that thing off! ...I'm fine. Don't need any help.

[But that's not good enough for Griever. She wants someone to come and take care of her owner, since he obviously can't do it himself. What does she do? Proceed to bounce on the edge of the bed with the communicator and make plenty of noise. That's sure to catch someone's attention-- aside from Leon's, who groans loudly and shoves his head underneath the pillow, too tired to try and get rid of his pest of a pokemon.]

[Tidus just raises an eyebrow. It's hard to talk to Leon, even now, so he keeps his voice carefully neutral. How awkward.]

How are you going to take care of your pets if you can't take care of yourself?

[That voice is very unmistakable and it makes Leon go very still. He's still mad at Tidus, but he isn't sure he wanted to chase him off. He stays that way until he can decide what to say and only then does he pull his head out from underneath the pillow. Griever seems pleased with herself for getting Tidus's attention at any rate.]

I can take care of myself just fine. So can Griever... She's just choosing to be obnoxious.

[Tidus folds his arms uncomfortably. Why did he respond to this again? He isn't sure if he wants to argue. He is a little worried about Leon though. He'd always act this way, no matter what it was.]

[Leon seems to mull that over for a moment, his eyes drifting away from the feed. He gives a shrug, starts to say something, then cuts loose another powerful sneeze. ...This is embarrassing. And stupid.]

...Guess not. But it's just a cold-- nothing to be worried about. Don't you have something better to do than give me lip?

[The only thing having him hesitate is their last conversation. But Leon seems so sick, leaving him tempted to.]

If you're feeling sick, maybe I can bring you something to help? I'm sure Fai-san wouldn't mind making some soup for you.

[...Hey. You're back. Is he hallucinating? Leon squints at the feed, completely zoning right past her offer at first.]

That's right! I'm back, although I can't take up my duties with the Restoration Committee just yet.

...Just a little can't hurt though, right? [She tilts her head to the side in thought for a moment.] Do you have anyone to help you, Leon-san? I wouldn't mind helping you for a little while. I can sneak out, it'll be our secret!

And you remember--? [More bleary blinking. No one ever remembers their time here if they return. Right? He had to have dozed off and started dreaming.] Not even worried about tha-- ha-- [ACHOO! Excuse him.]

You... don't have to do that. [But that's Leon-ese for saying company would be nice.]

It'd be nice to speak with someone who's living. I'll get some of Fai-san's cooking on the way. I promise not to make it myself.

[She's already pulling on her coat since she remembers how bright Radiant Garden is. Hades has some incredible powers.]

Griever, be sure to take good care of him until I arrive. I'll just let myself in, okay?

[She turns back to flash him a smile before she ends the feed; she has a ship to catch!]

[But his grumbling probably falls on deaf ears, as his face is soon flopped back into the pillow. Griever takes her mission seriously though, and gives a solid 'nyah!' in response to Yuuki.

Leon is being watched like a hawk.]

[Well it's a good thing she's bringing a little treat for Griever with her, then. True to her word, she lets herself into his house when she gets there a couple hours later. She'd only gotten lost once without Aidou to follow, but once she found Fai's cafe it was easy to go from there.

It was only after she reached the cafe that she remembered she didn't really know what to bring a sick person to eat, so she has quite the variety of food with her - soup, pastries, bread - all of which is carefully balanced as she follows her nose, more or less, to Leon's room and knocks on his door. She might let herself into his house, but his room seems a little too personal still.]

Leon-san? It's Yuuki.

[All she's getting from Leon is a grunt. Griever is more vocal about Yuuki coming inside, even bounding off the bed to meet her at the door. Or maybe she wants some of that delicious smelling food to herself!

Too bad Leon can't smell it.]

[She pokes her head in and smiles down at Griever. If she had a spare hand, she would pet the animal, but she doesn't...yet.]

Um, pardon the intrusion...

[She glances over at Leon with a smile, if he bothers to look over, and then begins to slowly set things where she can.]

How's our patient, Griever-chan? [A hand finally free, she spares a moment to pet the skitty before she makes her way to Leon's side.]

Just to check your fever... [Blame Kaname for this, Leon. She leans over him and presses her forehead to his, all while trying in vain to hold her hair out of the way.] Still warm...

Do you think you can eat something?

Oh no! Are you sick? Have you been to the doctor yet? I can call one for you!

I don't need a doctor. I'm-- [Cough, cough, sniff.] ...fine.

[But Griever gives a loud nyaaah! of protest. No, he is not fine, Sae. She says so!]

[Sae doesn't really understand Pokemon but it's pretty obvious Leon's pet doesn't agree. ]

And your friend doesn't seem to think so either. I will call some one and be right over... um, if you tell me where you live?

Are you kidding? I'm not telling you-- hey!

[But Griever, seemingly understanding, has snatched the communicator right up in her teeth and begins bounding outside to try and show Sae where they live.]

I'll be right there! Don't move or anything, I can let myself in.

[She will be bringing a moogle-doctor with her too. ]

[What an annoying pest. Why did he keep her again? Once Sae and the moogle-doctor are in sight, Griever will start bouncing in eager circles, in a hurry to lead them to Leon.

This doesn't really give Leon much say and it annoys him greatly. He shouldn't, but he's dragged himself out of bed in the lousy effort chase down his unruly pokemon and hopefully try to chase off any attempts to nurse him.]

Oh no! you shouldn't try to get up!

[The moogle-docter exclaims as he rushes over to the foot of the bed to try and prevent Leon's getting up on his own, but Sae being a bit faster makes it there first.

Of course... Sae being Sae... she trips over her own feet and ends up more headbutting Leon back into bed than gently pushing him as she intended. ]

Ow... my head...

[She rubs the tender spot on her forehead before looking up at Leon with a sudden surprised expression! Oh no! She hurt a sick person!!]

I'm sorry! Really, really, sorry!! You aren't hurt too badly are you? Oh please, don't be hurt!

[At least the moogle-doctor can close in at this point and give his reluctant patient a good once over. ]
