[Rumpelstiltskin is smiling. This in and of itself is probably not at all surprising. In fact, it's genuinely par for the course.

The video shows that he's not in his shop for once, instead out and about and in motion. And even more surprising, perhaps, is what he decides to ask about.]

Where I'm from, love is a very powerful magic. Well, the right kind of love is.

So tell me, dearies, what is your experience with love? Have you been in love? Does love conquer all where you're from? Has it ever saved someone you know?

I can't help my curiosity, after all. [Here he giggles, high pitched, the sound sudden and then ending just as abruptly.] So perhaps you wouldn't mind indulging an old man's wondering.

Isn't it? It's a human tragedy really. But love wouldn't be quite so powerful or precious if it were mundane and commonplace.

[She actually has to ponder this. This ism pretty good stuff here.]

But there is someone for everyone, it's just nigh on impossible to find.

Not always true. We want to believe it, but who sets up such perfect cosmic balance? Fate is not quite so kind.

Then you are saying it's basically not real?

Saying what's not real? Love is quit real. But the notion that it's intended for everyone is nonsense.

[She pauses to think about it.]

You mean like the unrequited that the most common one I see around?

Unrequited, yes. That can be a problem. Other people find passion and mistake it for love. But love is not passion alone.

I believe I once had an unrequited love. Such a sad day for me.

Yes. I'm sure.

But then I eventually understood something and it was a little better.

Oh? And what was that?

I learn to learn about a person, before jumping to conclusions.

I see. Well. That is a valuable lesson. [He giggles his high pitched, whine of a giggle.]

But, I was still of somewhat value after with my expertise in understanding certain people.
