( Belle looks tired as she comes into view on the camera, despite the fatigue, she’s smiling rather proudly and proceeds to explain her elated feeling, fingertips pressing against one another in her giddy state. )

I’m finished!

( just two words, but that’s her proud announcement. finished what, you ask? )

I’m all finished! The whole place is completely dust free, pollen free, scum free, scuzz free, dirt free, web free, bug free — free, free free! It’s all gone! Rumpelstiltskin’s is immaculate!

Now that that’s finished and there’s no mess, I can finally take that trip I had been wanting to!
Oh, well, that is to say if I still have a charming guide who’ll assist me with the travelling?

Tidus, once you’re finished with that Cup, if you’re still up to it, that is.

( can you FEEL her excitement, everyone? )

Wh— How!?

( welp, whatever. she gives the wheel a yank to try and literally pull it to the right, since that's what she gathers he wants her to do )

Now up, down, right, right, right down, left!

[he speaks as fast as he can, which is pretty fast.]

( —wait, what came after right?

crap.

how about she just jiggers the whachamacallit however she can, because panic and directions are not working.

hope you're okay with a bumpy ride, Tidus! )

Whoa, whoa--ow!

[he grabs onto the other seat, finally managing to sit down while holding on for his life.]

I guess that wasn't much of a lesson.

( is it okay if she closes her eyes? because yeah, that's happening now.

she let's out a yell as the ship comes to a stop, thankfully at the right place. opening her eyes again, surprised that they aren't dead )

W, wow... ( she glances to him somewhat sheepishly ) That was... Exhilarating.

[he's tempted to close his eyes too, but he doesn't just in case he has to end up steering.

turns out he doesn't have to, so he smiles easily.]

Yeah, that's a good way of putting it. You did a pretty good job.

( she laughs at his compliment )

Either you're a thrill seeker, or you're just far too sweet for you're own good. ( laughing more ) But thank you.

[he smiles, looking down as he scratches the back of his head almost shyly.]

Sure. We're here, so let's go.

[Grabbing everything, he also opens the door and waits for her to leave first.]

( she watches as he picks up most everything, moving toward the door, she offers her hands to him )

I can carry something, you know.

I...know.

[he blinks, then holds out the blitzball to her.]

Uh, here.

( there's a fleeting frown at his tone, but she takes the ball and heads out of the ship, blinking as she goes, even narrowing her eyes to the brightness of the sun to try and keep it from blinding her )

Wow...
It's been so long since I've seen the sun shining like this...

[he glances away, heading out and allowing the door to shut itself. blinking a few times, he grins at her.]

That's right, Traverse Town doesn't get this kind of sun.

Not quite.

( infected by his grin, she smiles as well but turns her gaze to look over the area )

It's just beautiful Tidus.

( having never seen a beach in her life, Belle lowers herself to kneel, reaching a hand to drag her fingers through the sand. it wasn't as though she had never seen sand before; dirt was equivalent to it, but she'd never felt it as soft as this, or seen as nice of a color.

standing again, she looked out to the water, sparkling in the glow of the sun. looking at it stun at her eyes somewhat, but she couldn't pull her gaze away from something so pretty )

This is amazing!

[he glances down, watching her reaction. he was so used to most people taking the beach for granted; even he had a tendency to do so. seeing Belle so entranced by something so simple makes him feel a bit like he was experiencing it for the first time too. He beams at her, putting the supplies down.]

This is one of the nicest ones I've seen. Are you sure you don't want to just dip your feet in?

( almost nervously, she slides her feet from her shoes and hops down from the dock to the sand below. a giggle passes her lips, wriggling her toes. )

It's so warm... ( obviously heated from the sun, but she tilts her head back to gaze over her shoulder at him and smiling, gives the blond a nod )

Just stepping in the water won't hurt, I'm certain.

It cools down once it's night.

[he stands on the dock, crouching down and smiling in amusement.]

All right. [jumping off the dock, he starts heading to the ocean, his boots squishing a little in the wet sand.]

( she giddily chases the other toward the water, the shallows won't be frightening for her; there's no threat of drowning in waters that she can stand within. as she approaches the shoreline, she wanders toward the water and once there almost shyly touches her toes into the water.

her smile broadens. it's cold; she imagined it would be, although not too cold to be uncomfortable. Belle glances to Tidus and grins )

This is great!

[he laughs lightly, taking off his shoes so that he can feel the water too. Belle's excitement is contagious.]

It is! I'm glad you think so.

( and just like that, she's kicking the water, splashing and giggling at the waves that gently crash on the shore. she even twirls, tuft of her dress fluttering around as she does. the water is exhilarating and all at once she feels a pang of guilt for never wanting to leave the islands, but it passes, because nothing can stop her excitement for the newness of this beach to her )

I love this place! ( she turns to look at Tidus, smiling brightly ) Thank you for bringing me here.

[seeing her so happy over something so normal to him makes him feel just as excited over it. he jumps in the water, letting it splash over his hair. for the first time in a while, he actually kind of feels carefree, like he's been trying to act.]

Anytime. You can visit this place whenever you want, you know.

I'm going to come here always!

( she laughs, twirling in the water, amazed at the droplets that spatter against the rest of the ocean's waters from her dress as it swishes and flutters around. she continues to do so for a while longer until dizziness overcomes her body and stumbling, Belle falls to her rear into the shallows, laughing throughout )

This is fun... ( giggling and laughter are mostly all that comes from her lips, she feels a child again, like this is something that her Papa would have done with her if only they had oceans nearer to his kingdom. )

[he grins, elated just by watching her get so much fun out of this. he starts to spin too, until he realizes she stopped, thanks to falling in the water. he bursts out laughing, extending a hand to offer helping her up.]

It is fun. Nothing can really beat the ocean.

( lifting her hand to take his, Belle is about to pull herself up when a better thought comes to mind. sneaky, sneaky. instead of rising from the rippling ocean, she moves her other hand to join the former and giving a great heave, tries to yank him down into the water as well.

he might as well get all wet too. what's a day at the beach without completely drenching oneself in the water anyway? )

[the shallow water seems to be quickly meeting up with him, and all too late he realizes why. met with a refreshing, but completely soaking splash, he lands in the water, soaking Belle even more in the process. He blinks, shoving his hair out of his face, eyes her quietly before grinning wickedly and splashing her in retaliation.]

( useless though it may be, she raises her hands to defend from the splash his body causes when it collides with the water. )

Ah! ( a soft yelp passes her lips as she's splashed, giggling soon following ) H, hey! ( moving her hands, she returns the favor by splashing him back! )
