[Voice / Disney Castle Action]

[Chloe’s elegant British voice is a hushed whisper, an attempt not to be found by Icy’s army. ]

It is just as those two said in their announcement. Disney Castle is being overrun by… strange creatures who aren’t heartless…

[A quick burst of static and one image of the creatures manages to make its way out onto the airwaves. ]

They have already captured the moogles and set them to work destroying the town. I think they are trying to turn anyone they find here into slaves.

[While it can’t be seen Chloe frowns at the idea. Him a slave? Tch! That would never happen. ]

Is there anyone on this world who hasn’t been captured yet? If so we should meet up some wher--…

[Another burst of static and Chloe’s voice fades away. Messages with the outside world are not something the new Queen of Disney Castle wishes to allow. Communication is likely to be spotty if one can get a signal out at all..]

[Here's Lizzie, fighting to defend her shop from these rather disgusting creatures. Two swords in hand and her Vulpix flame throwing them any chance she gets. She knew to defend her master as well.]

Wh-Why do they multiply the more we attack. This is not cute at all!

[Slipping through the now darkened city streets of Disney Castle, Chloe slid into an alleyway near Lizzie's shop. He did have to pass by the business on the way to the castle anyway so checking up on Lizzie on the way sounded like the best plan. With any luck she would be some where safe with Ciel--...

The clash of battle and Lizzie's yell soon crushed that hope. So she was still here too and fighting against these creatures. Why could things never be easy? Chloe wondered as he tried to size up the situation. The army seemed to fall back and then double every time it looked like Lizzie was getting the upper hand, just as they had when he had tried to fight against them. Retreat really was the only option he could see right now. They needed to fall back and come up with a better plan before they both ended up getting caught.

Chloe reached into his jacket and grabbed a handful of rose petals. Not the most typical attack but these had always worked for him in the past.]

Lizzie! Get ready to run!

[At the warning a few of the Army of Decay turned to look in Chloe's direction just as he tossed the petals into the air. Not your normal rose petals these ones burst into a brilliant flame bright enough to blind the creatures Lizzie had been fighting and even Lizzie herself if she wasn't careful. It was a distraction so that Chloe could run out and grab Lizzie's wrist and spirit her away from the battle, that is if she would allow herself to be drug away from her shoppe. ]

[The one thing Lizzie was not expecting was for Chloe to show up by himself. This just made her worry a lot because she had no idea where Ciel was at all. So following his lead, her Vulpix following behind.]

Chloe, do you know where Ciel is?

I thought he might be with you, since he isn't he must still be at the Colosseum. He was interested in watching the tournament.

[Chloe was bit worried about Ciel but surely the kid could watch out for himself? ]

I haven't been able to get much of a signal out to check on him however. If it is Ciel I'm sure he will be fine.

[She had to wonder why was he so interested?]

I'm sure he is, but... I can't help but worry.

It's only natural for a lady to worry about her fiancee.

[Ducking into an open door, Chloe makes sure the pair avoids being spotted by a nearby patrol of decay creatures. ]

We should try to get you back to him, but the way to the gummi ships is fairly blocked for now.

[There had to be a way though. He just needed to come up with a plan. 'Little sister' types always seem like they need to be protected weather they actually need it or not. ]

[The vulpix jumps into Lizzies arms after Lizzie put her swords on her belt.]

All ways appear to be overrun by those things.

[She went to peek out, seeing what was close by before hiding once more.]

Why do these things have to make me so unlady-like?

Unladylike?

[Different time periods have different expectations on that. ]

I believe a lady can defend herself and yet still be considered a lady.

[A glance out of a window confirms they are fairly surrounded right now but luckily the creatures don't seem to have discovered they were there yet. Just laying low until they wander off then seemed like the best plan. ]

[She looked down slightly.]

Ciel...before he found out about this, he use to find woman who were strong to be scary. I remember because I was training in private with my mother in fencing and... I was scared that day that he wouldn't like me. [She looked at the side, her pet licking her face to make her happy.]

So, it's unladylike to be like that. it's what I believe and at times still do.

[Chloe couldn't help but smirk as he responded. ]

Despite all of his protests Ciel is still just a little boy, of course he would find women intimidating.

[Some what more helpfully he added to that. ]

I can assure you it is a temporary situation. Ciel is fiercely devoted to you and once he has a bit more time to mature he will begin to see the benefits of a strong female counterpart.

[She looked at him slightly.]

I think he's very mature already, considering that he had to so fast.

On some things he is very mature. His business skills are good enough to rival any veteran businessman...

[A compliment he will deny if Ciel asks. ]

However, there are still some things he misses out on.

Like what?

[She was curious to know just what exactly Ciel wasn't mature on. In her head he was mature in everyday.]

Ciel does not always handle situations like a mature person would. You must have noticed how he throws a tantrum if things are not going his way?

[Not like anyone else does that... --' Chloe will deny tantrum throwing. ]

He doesn't understand people and will often run away from social situation in order to avoid dealing with them. He tries to act like an adult in matters of business, he denies any childlike qualities he might still have and over all he has not yet become fully aware of himself or how his actions affect those around him.

[These were all just observations Chloe had made of his business partner along the way. Certainly Ciel would deny them. ]

[She shook her head slightly.]

I don't see him get too mad often, only once have I really.

[That she noticed anyway, she feels that maybe he does keep things from her, but she just lets them slide.]

That's Ciel for you though, he had to try and mature, but I don't know if he would have been like this if it weren't for the incident.

Only once? How did you manage to avoid it?

[Chloe is very good at getting Ciel angry apparently.]

[Conclusion he comes to...]

Well, being his fiancee he would take more care to behave around you. Ciel does try to be a gentleman around you.

['That incident' was a very sobering thought. Chloe knew Ciel must have gone through some kind of trauma... was it anything like what he had faced at that age?]

It must have been something very traumatic, involving his parents? Ciel never speaks of them.

Avoid it? Sebastian calmed him down that one time of course.

[To be honestly she was thankful for that, others she wasn't sure what Ciel might have done, though she figured it would have just been a slap around the face.]

That's right, it has something to do with them and a time he went missing for a month.

He went missing for a month?

[That sounded terrible. Why would he have disappeared? Chloe only thought his parents had been the targets.]

What ever happened to his parents? Were they ever heard from again after that incident?

[Lizzie stopped with her usual trying to be happy when she not at the mention, her eyes started to look down at the floor. trying not to let the sadness she felt on that day get to her.]

They... died in the fire. Ciel was assumed to be dead at the time until he returned with Sebastian.

There was a fire?

[Ciel missing for a month after a fire that resulted in... or covered up the deaths of his parents? Just what had happened?]

This Sebastian, his butler I know, but has he been with the family long? I wonder how he managed to escape that fire.

[She nodded slightly.]

Yes there was, but no one found out what exactly happened to cause it that day.

[As for Sebastian.]

Actually I had never seen him before, he just arrived with Ciel on the day he returned and worked for him since. I know not to ask questions and be a good lady if I'm to be the future wife, but I don't know anything about him.

[She really never asked? That was a different way of thinking for him. A strange man suddenly appearing and any modern woman would be brimming over with questions about it.]

Sebastian really just appeared with Ciel and there was no explanation at all given about where he had been hired or where Ciel had been all this time?

Even for Ciel that is very mysterious.

[Unfortunately for Ciel, Chloe has no such ideas about not questioning him. Later there would be questions... MANY of them.]

I don't remember if there was a explanation, I just just really happy that Ciel was back at the time.

[Priorities. Lizzie has them.]

Your devotion to Ciel is very admirable.

[But questions, he has them... ]
