001 ϟ video / action (anywhere!)
[Anyone in Traverse Town, or anyone who happens to have their communicator on at this moment, will find that the sky has suddenly grown quite dark. Just when you thought nothing else could go wrong, lightning begins spearing through the clouds with deafening thunder to follow. It's a violent storm, nevermind that it wasn't on the forecast for the day. That becomes the least of anyone's problems once a booming voice crackling with rage fills the air off-camera.]
Where are they?!
[The force of the voice is enough to send the moogle holding the communicator backwards onto the ground, flailing its arms. Its source, however, becomes clear. A towering man with a wild dark mane and beard stands across from the moogle, looking as furious as he sounds.]
I-I don't know who--!
My son, Perseus, and my brother, Hades. [He cuts the moogle off impatiently. There is no time to lose.]
W-Well, I don't know about a Perseus, k-kupo... There's a Hades here, b-but he's--
[The man doesn't even wait for the moogle to finish his sentence, despite its frantic attempt to explain that it's probably not his brother because he's a god. It isn't until the man swings a hand up to the sky, vanishing in a bolt of lightning and the storm soon vanishing with it that it realized it was talking to a god.
Ally or foe? That's for you to decide. Unfortunately, his attempt to get to his own Olympus promptly fails and sends him across the various worlds, looking for his son and brother with a storm following him wherever he goes.]
OOC; Zeus will not be answering any video responses because... well, he doesn't have the communicator. But the moogle will if you're so inclined!

( action )
she is distracted from the sky when she hears a voice thundering with rage. hurrying around the corner toward the entrance to the town, she raises her brows at the man being rather loud with the moogles. cautiously, she approaches. )
E, Excuse me, Ser ...? ( she's timid in her tone, but concerned. something had to have upset him, after all. something more than the current situation, it seems. )
( action )
He says nothing, but the look on his face makes it clear he's expecting her to speak up if she has something important to say.]
( action )
Who did you say you were searching for?
( action )
Perseus and Hades. They were near when I was whisked away to this place, I have to assume they are here as well.
( action )
( action )
[You got some explainin' to do, Belle.]
( action )
( she takes a moment and swallows a lump in her throat ) I have been told that people can come into this strange world from different 'times' of one another — a companion of mine is from rather far into my own personal future. I know it makes little sense, but... That is how this world works.
The homes we knew are swallowed by some form of darkness and we are brought here.
Our world here, however, is being placed in danger by the forces of Hades and a woman whom I know not.
( action )
Tell me: is this the doing of Kronos?
[It is the only explanation he has. Then again, if he'd bothered to let the moogle explain, he might have answers.]
( action )
No, Ser. I apologize — I do not believe that name is one I have heard of here before. The persons responsible are as I mentioned; a man named Hades whom runs the Underworld and a woman of whom I am unfamiliar with, although she is leading an army noted as the Army of Decay.
( action )
That is no man. That is a god-- my brother. If he is truly behind this, then it bodes well for no one. [He heaves a sigh, and though the sky is rumbling with less turmoil, his anger is far from stamped out.] Unfortunately, I have no more knowledge of an Army of Decay than you.
Where is this place and how can I get to Hades?
[He can't exactly teleport there without knowing where it is, after all.]
( action )
I believe it is mostly confined to two realms of this world; the Coliseum and a realm known as Disney Castle. ( she frowns though ) The only means of travel to them are via aircrafts known as the Gummi Ships and I am told their use for travel is now rather dangerous.
( action )
As for you... [Humans may not be his creation in other realms, but he still thinks of them as his. He is fond and protective over them all the same.] You have been most useful. What is your name?
( action )
I am called Belle, Ser. And what may I call you?
1/2
That is enough for even a dark-aligned God to second guess his plans.]
Whoa, hey, Zeusy calm down I mean it's just a world, one little speak of dust in the cosmos... it's not like...
2/2
[Getting a better look at the man Hades pauses and wonder replaces the fear. ]
What is this, trying a different look?
[Hades glides around this 'Zeus' before picking up a lock of the other man's hair, as if to check for hair dye, and dropping it again so that it landed back down on his shoulder. ]
I'm not sure the whole short, brown, and mortal-looking thing is a good look for you.
no subject
Hades...
[But he doesn't sound so sure; there's an inquisitive lilt at the end.]
If anyone has changed, it's you.
no subject
[As the lightening flickered across the sky Hades gestured up to point it out. ]
What's with the light show?
[If it wasn't his Zeus then maybe he hadn't heard about the whole taking over the worlds deal yet. ]
no subject
I was taken away when I am needed most. [He's not sure he wants to give the details, so the urgency in his voice will speak volumes instead. Literally.] Is that not cause for anger?
[Unfortunately for you, Hades, Belle did inform him of your antics.] Perhaps it's for good cause. Tell me: are you the cause behind the strife here?
no subject
[Ignore the sounds of battle in the distance. ]
We're just having a tiny, little, insignificant disagreement. You know the kind, mortals think they own everything, a God needs to appear to show them who is really in charge... everything will work out in the end. There's nothing that you need to worry about, except for this crisis of yours, oy, what was that again? You have to get back to where you came from?
Maybe we can find you a doorway into darkness some where...
[Hades will just be trying to shoo Zeus along, maybe into one of those doorways. It would be better for him if Zeus became trapped in the darkness again anyway. ]
You shouldn't keep, uh, what was his name... Perseus waiting!
[Action]
Your clothing is nice to look at.
[Action]
And you are brave. [Beat-- nah, Zeus doesn't hand out compliments that easily, especially while he's in the middle of a temper tantrum. The next words come with an odd mixture of amusement and irritation; he can't decide how he feels about this young man's boldness.] Or incredibly foolish.
Action
Well if it isn't the big man himself! [The herald said enthusiastically, as he flitted closer to the other God. Juggling his attention between the scroll he was toting and the latest arrival delayed his surprise for a moment longer]
Where have you been all this time, babe? You didn't happen to bring the rest of the pantheon with you? Or Olympus per chance?
[When he did finally look up, Hermes visibly jumped, nearly losing his sunglasses in the process]
WIld! Dig that crazy new look... say you're not in the doghouse with Hera are you? You didn't forget a certain anniversary again, right?
[... in his excitement he'd nearly forgotten to address the head God's concerns]
As far as I know, Hades is still in the Underworld. What's got your toga in a twist.. if you don't mind my asking.
Action
Everything else is more or less tuned out while Zeus studies him, trying to discern exactly which god he is. He's an odd one.]
We don't come from the same Olympus. Mine is under attack. I don't appreciate being taken away.
[Staying would have meant his inevitable death, but being here is only prolonging it while Hades and Perseus are forced to fight alone. It's infuriating-- so much so that another deafening crack of thunder sounds overhead.]
