He was still injured from his previous battles so his movements were highly compromised but that was never a reason for him to quit. He was a stubborn exorcist, he was still on his feet. Breathing hard, Kanda was trying to keep his ground. He wasn't backing off even if he was mildly overwhelmed at the moment. The enemies surrounding him were a clear testament to that. Some made a move at him and he slipped underneath their grasps just in time to give their general direction a good and firm slice before catching his breath again alert for the next move.]
