Now that things have settled down, I owe you all an explanation of my actions regarding the siege at Disney Castle.

[Normally Ciel wouldn’t have felt the need for something like this however since his plans had been more of a public nature it was necessary. He stood before the camera quite confidently]

Neither me nor my butler had any true sympathies for either Hades or Icy. [He paused for a moment to let that sink in] .. It was simply a ploy to convince those two of our “loyalty” and a way to infiltrate their otherwise heavily guarded stronghold.

I do realize that our methods could have possibly jeopardized your own endeavors to overtake the enemy, however we did not inform them of anything they were not already expecting. The duo had been more prepared for a frontal assault than for someone working against them from the inside.

You are all free to believe as you like…. [He bowed his head for a moment before looking back at the camera] but I assure you, I, Ciel Phantomhive, would never do anything to bring disgrace to my own family name. [At least not publicly……. ]

I do apologize for the confusion but it would have been quite impossible to have revealed my plans to you earlier or your reactions would not have been authentic and it might have aroused suspicion.

[And with that the feed ended. No one needed to know what transpired after the duo had entered. The job was taken care of and that was enough. no one would be hearing from Icy any time soon…]

No, it was everyone else's plan to "storm the castle".. we were invited in. It was much more efficient. Icy may fancy herself as an unstoppable force but she is no Goddess nor did her ally make an appearance.

I thought an explanation was in order but apparently I was mistaken. [Strangely enough they had been more accepted by Hades and Icy.....It almost made him feel like he had been supporting the wrong side after all. At least he finally paid Hades back for a certain humiliation and Icy for property damage?] You all would rather assume that what we did was every bit as bad as the crimes Icy was committing..

... Tch. [Need he remind her that Icy had frozen much of the populace in solid blocks of ice? She'd kidnapped that Kairi girl? She was enslaving the planet...? And everyone was supposed to be okay with this? He pressed two fingers to his forehead.. he clearly shouldn't have bothered.]

[One of a darker nature I might add. In reality.. Sebastian seemed to have closer ties than Ciel did so the boy wasn't that invested in the others. He was mildly frustrated by how readily they lined up to denounce him... when in comparison to the real enemies what he did was nothing. Clearly, he should not have given them forewarning so that they could make any adjustments to their own plans. No one thought about the "why" they just reacted from an emotional standpoint. Were they all so narrow minded?]

[Given whatever connection Belle had with his butler.. Ciel bit back saying "I highly doubt that". She didn't need to feign her concern and these emotional outbursts were grating on the boy. Emotions should have had very little connection to warfare. It was no wonder that the populace was a sitting duck for Maleficent and any other opponents that decided to take action.
